We go to the waterparks every summer, TL more than BB. When we end up at BB, on the odd year, we always say that we prefer TL, why are we here! That goes for my brood of teenagers as well.
TL-Pro's
The wave pool, you can surf these waves at the 10' deep mark. There's a wide expanse of water, uncluttered by the fact that they do not allow tubes of any kind.
The lazy river is much better, a bit deeper than and less crowed than BB.
Places to sit and seats close to the pool, there are more at TL, though not much in the shade shade to dip in, if you like! Fantastic way tos tart the morning or even better afternoon snack!
We bring in a cooler with waters, fruit etc. andmake a day of it! We love the waterparks, rejuvinates in between the theme park days, summer is brutal!
The Shark Tank/Reef, you can snorkle the lenght of it, pretty cool!
BB Pro's
If you're in for the thrill slides this is the park for you. Summet Plummet, etc. unfortunately is not for me. Sliding down something that pushes your bathing suit to parts unknown is not my idea of fun!
The family raft ride is better, faster and longer than at TL.
There's more shade at BB but it's spread out more!
BB has a better/larger toddler/little kid area to play in!
The only Con:
This goes for anyone we've ever taken to either park, we dislike the wave pool at BB. By 11am, it's jammed packed with tons of tubes with little kids & people that can't swim, they are in the 5+ foot deep part of the pool, attached to other people clingling on. It's not safe and it's unpleasantly overcrowded, much prefer TL's wave pool!
Not to be missed at either resorts:
Warm baby donuts, tossed in sugar if you like, served with icing sugar, chocolate sauce and/or rasberry sauce!
