I'm in again, however, I am only going to track MY buying, not DH (unless we shop together). Goal for this month is going to be strict, since the following 6 weeks are mega-spend with my first September/MNSSHP and an out-of-town wedding coming up. Goal: 20/31

Thanks Debbie!! It's so hard to get started, but I was lucky to have people in my life encouraging me. It's much easier once it becomes a routine AND it's helping me spend less money because I think about the effect of the calories before I consider ordering take our or delivery.

I'm back and have to try harder this month! I've decided to limit myself to a budget of $50/week including groceries (not utility bills) because my credit card is out of control and my air conditioning needs to be replaced.

18/15 Days So Far, I made it! This week has had some ups and downs. I was pretty good about not spending money, but I did buy my friend lunch on Friday because she was just on her way home from Peace Corps and I thought it was the right thing to do considering she went out of her way to see me. On a sadder note, my grandma is in the hospital and not doing well so I had to drive to see her this weekend. I'll probably have some spending days coming up after she passes. It seems like every time I get a little something good going, something terrible happens to balance it back to the bad side. I guess that's life.

10- First day of my new job! I had to pay to park downtown this day, so that was $19. I would have parked in a cheaper lot that was farther away, but it was pouring down rain. I spent $6.50 on lunch out with coworkers, and $12.99 at the grocery store that night.
