I have myasthenia gravis and we are planning a disney trip in November for 2 weeks.
I've been to the parks before but not since I got diagnosed. I use a wheelchair sometimes but not always as my vision is affected and I'm not safe to propel myself (I've managed to hit walls at home). My other half is coming with me but he is also blind so he cant push me in a chair.
When I'm not in my chair I walk slowly and my muscles get really weak, if I try to push myself I can end up on a ventilator as my muscles just fail.
Obviously I have awesome insurance and I'm taking a cooling vest as the heat can make me worse (I'm in Scotland so any heat feels hot to me).
Is there anything else I can do to make touring work better for me?
