I'm wondering this too. I thought is for any cruise booked by December 16th.
I think it's just for 2013 itineraries though.

Trying to figure out why the Dream does not have a 5/18/14 4 night sailing. Hoping its not a charter! That appears to be the only date without a Sunday sailing during that time frame.

I will be moving my dummy date, so it will be balance of what I've already paid.

You have to cruise by the end of 2013 in order for the 10% deposit deal.

There isn't one for March 23rd either :confused3. That is of course the 4 night I am most interested in. But I am Gold, so I will be calling in the morning and asking what's up.

OMG -- THIS is what we were waiting for all this time :headache:

What a disappointment! Same boring itineraries (not even a New York departure), same dang ports and same departure ports! And I guess the Magic will be doing the Med (AGAIN). Couldn't even shake it up and give us some 10-day Southern Caribbean. I wanted something with San Juan, but it looks like that is only listed through April (right now).

Hopefully the rest of 2014 will have some surprises when they ever release that one! :sad2: Well, going to research other cruise lines now. This was so not worth the wait (IMO).

If I switch my dummy cruise from 2013 into 2014, can I go out and get the trip insurance then (outside Disney)? Or did i have to pick it up immediately when I booked my dummy cruise to get the best pricing? I only did a dummy 3 day cruise at the time, looking to do a 7 night.

Booking it early not only gives you better pricing, but buying it within 10 days of the original booking also allows for pre-existing conditions.

If you flip a cruise, the insurance company still goes by the date that the original deposit was put down. Flipping it does not give you a newer booking date. And if you had booked it outside of Disney on the original cruise, you can no longer flip the insurance too. Believe me, I've been on the merry-go-round about this in the past. For us, pre-existing conditions are vital. We can't book any insurance now that will include that once we flip the current cruise to 2014.

I am optimistic about prices as I don't see how they can possibly sustain the kind of high prices we have been seeing lately with 4 ships sailing out of Florida with 3 doing similar short itineraries, during a slower time of the year for cruises. I know I certainly would not expect to pay the same money for the same cruise on the Magic that I would on the Dream, regardless of how the renovation turns out, the ship is still 15 years old, and the Dream is only 2 years old, and has more attractions.
