Joining this thread just now. I posted this in another thread, but wanted to post here since just yesterday (Oct 10) I received the MyMagic+ letter for my stay at the GF starting Nov 10.
They werent able to link my existing non-expiring ticket to my "My Reservations" page and therefore I can't make my FP+ selections until I am down at WDW
Here's what the tech support team sent me via email (after about an hour on the phone:
(note that I bought my nonexpiring 10-day MYW ticket from
Undercover Tourist in February 2013, and then once I was at the park I added PH and Water Parks. It had 7 days left on it, and I'm making a 3-day trip)
"Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort and for your
patience as we work to bring the new and exciting products and services
of MyMagic+® to life at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
Since your ticket was upgraded on your last visit, it actually has 3
numbers associated with it and is a composite of the Waterpark, Fun &
More option, No Expiration option and the Park Hopper option. You will
need to have concierge at your resort front desk or Guest Relations scan
or upgrade the ticket and then make your FastPass+ selections for you.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are just not able to move the
ticket in order to access the entitlements.
If you have questions or need further assistance, feel free to contact
us."
I WAS able to link my
MVMCP ticket and have 3 fastpasses for that day btwn 4 and 7. The other 2 days I was going to spend at Epcot and DHS I'll have to plan once I can talk to the Grand Floridian concierge or whoever will help me with that...
Oh well... either way, I'm going to Disney, so who can really complain?!
