We had the Princess tea on our recent cruise on the Wonder. We received formal printed invitations delivered to our cabin a couple days before. They were from Ariel, inviting us to tea. Upon arrival, each girl was given a '
Disney Cruise Princess' pink sash, with button, and each boy a prince crown. They were then individually announced to a receiving line, who clapped for them upon entrance. "Introducing Princess __________", "Introducing Prince ______", and escorted to your table. All wait staff were wearing white gloves, and in formal wear. We, along with our children, were given a choice of drinks. We all had decaf English breakfast tea. The 'kiddie cups' weren't present, and our kids loved drinking their ice water from real glasses and their tea from 'fine china'. Served family style, they gave us plates of tea sandwiches (tuna, pb&j and ham & cheese), in little rectangles, with the crusts cut off. Also, we were given plates of an assortment of petite pastries, cupcakes, desserts and cookies. The princesses were announced at the beginning of the tea, and made their grand entrance. They visited with each table, and took pictures. Then their departure was announced, stating they would return in a little while. A few minutes later, Minnie and Daisy appeared in their formal wear, and danced with a few of the dads. They also posed for pictures with the guests. When they left, the princesses came back. It was one of the highlights of our cruise.
