A Whole New World, A Whole New Life! -- A Jan-Feb-Mar 2015 TR -- *COMPLETED* 9/29

Today was Tuesday! I woke up not feeling so well, dealing with allergies/sinus problems. It wasn't horrible, but very uncomfortable.
A few days before we had noticed that one of the RV's water tanks was leaking, so we had a guy coming out in the morning to fix it. He ended up getting there around 10:00 and not leaving until almost 4:00 (he ended up having to go to the store to get a different part).
We spent the morning doing our regular routine of school and work. Because of the leak we couldn't use our water, so we ate sandwiches for lunch on paper plates.
After lunch I was still feeling yucky, so I went to bed for a couple of hours. Travis went to play basketball for a while and later the boys went fishing.
I got up around 2:00 not feeling much better. We were planning on leaving for Magic Kingdom around 3:00 and I really wanted to go, so I took a shower to see if that would help. I did feel a little better after that, so I decided I would go.
We got some stuff together, and everyone except for Dad (who stayed with the repairman) was out the door a little after 3:00. We walked to the docks and waited about 10 minutes for a boat to come. Once we arrived at MK and went through bag check, we headed inside the park!
It was wicked crowded today, which was slightly unusual for a Tuesday afternoon.
We checked the My Disney Experience app for wait times, and most things were 30-45 minutes or higher.
We decided to go over to Tomorrowland first to ride the Speedway, which had a 30 minute wait. It was at this point when I realized that perhaps it had not been such a great idea for me to come. I was just feeling awful, and the sun and crowds were not helping at all. I did not feel up to standing in line for half an hour, so I opted to sit out on a bench and wait while they rode. Mom didn't want me to wait out by myself, so she was kind enough to sit with me while Sam and Travis rode.
When they got off it was a little after 4:00. We had Mine Train FastPasses that expired at 4:45, but we really wanted to wait for Dad to get there so he could ride with us. We made our way over to the ride to wait for him, and while we waited we watched the ride cars go by. It was so fun to see all the people screaming and having a good time. Dad texted around 4:20 to say he was on the boat over. He arrived about 20 minutes later, just in time for our FastPass.
We pretty much waked right on, and we had a great ride! When we got off it was about 5:00, so we started thinking about where we wanted to eat dinner. We had just brought sandwiches again, so we decided that we would go over to the tables near Rapunzel's tower.
As we were making our way over there we noticed that the Fairy Godmother was out greeting and her line was fairly short, so we stopped to meet her! Mom stayed with me while the boys went to find a table.
It only took about 5-10 minutes until it was our turn, and we had a great interaction! I had never met Fairy Godmother before, and she was so fun.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B837%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5563268347nu0mrj

Once we said goodbye, we started heading towards Rapunzel's when Mom noticed that Sam had texted her to say there were no free tables. Instead they were in Liberty Square at the tables over there. So, we met them over there and we ate our sandwiches together. I was actually feeling better at this point, which was great.
Once we were done eating we had plans of splitting up.
Mom and I had FP's for meeting Anna and Elsa and Ariel, and we were planning on meeting some other characters as well. The boys had FP's for Big Thunder and Buzz, and they were also going to do the Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom.
So, once we were done we went in our separate directions. Our FP's for Anna and Elsa were just about ready, so we headed over there first. We scanned our bands and only had to wait about 10 minutes before seeing them! Now let me tell you, I was very excited about meeting Anna and Elsa. Like every other 6 year old girl out there, I love Frozen. I have a giant Olaf stuffed animal, an Anna doll, and Frozen bed sheets. I had been looking forward to this since we made the FastPass back in December, and I was definitely not disappointed! Anna is my favorite character, and she was so amazing! She talked to me longer than face characters usually do, talking about my braids, my snowflake earrings, and whether or not I had ice powers. She was so great!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv36%3A83%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5539%3A92347nu0mrj

It was also super fun meeting Elsa, but she isn't as crazy energetic as her sister is. She is definitely more reserved and "queen like".
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv39947%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5539%3A94347nu0mrj

They let people into the room with the characters in groups, and we were the last ones in our group to go. It was fun being in there with them all by myself! We asked if it would be possible to get a photo with both Anna and Elsa, but they wouldn't do it :(. According to Anna, she couldn't take pictures with Elsa because she needed to learn how to do things on her own. I was bummed, especially because I had seen other people get pictures with the both of them, but we just said okay and headed out.

It was about 5:45 at this point, and our FP for meeting Ariel wasn't until 7:00. So, in the meantime we decided to meet some other characters! First we went over to the Fairy Tale Garden to meet Merida! The line took about 20 minutes, which wasn't bad at all. While we were waiting I took my hair out of the braids and put my sweatshirt on, so it kind of looks like these pictures were taken on a different day than the others!
Meeting Merida was awesome, and she was really great. I feel like Brave is kind of an underrated movie, but I really love it. Merida was explaining to me how she hates when she has to curtsy because she's so awful at it.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv34%3B76%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C555%3C%3B43347nu0mrj

Once we said goodbye to Merida, we had time to meet one more character before our Ariel FP's were good, so we decided to meet our friends from the Hundred Acre Woods! We hopped in line for Pooh and Tigger, which took about 20 minutes. While we were waiting the boys came over and met us there. The park was still very crowded and wait times had not gone down much, so Sam and Travis were ready to go home. They headed out of the park, but Dad decided to stay with us. He sat outside the line and waited for us.
For some reason the line seemed to be taking forever, probably because Pooh and Tigger had to leave twice. The second time they left we were the next in line to see them! But it was totally worth it, because we had an awesome meet and greet! Tigger is one of my favorite (non-princess) Disney characters, and I told him that. He got so excited and started bouncing around all over the place. I must have gotten at least 3 hugs, and it was so totally precious. Pooh didn't seem too upset that I was favoring Tigger, and I got some hugs from him, too.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv378%3B%3A%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5563272347nu0mrj

Even as we were leaving, Tigger was blowing me a bunch of kisses. He was so cute!
Once we exited, we met up with Dad. My and Mom's FastPasses for Ariel were ready, so we headed over there. Dad didn't have a FP, so he had to wait outside, but it ended up only taking like 5 minutes to get in and out.
We basically scanned our bands and walked right up to Ariel. It was really fun meeting her, and she was one of the most beautiful people I've ever met. She really liked my "treasures" (earrings) and wanted to know if I had got them from a shipwreck. Apparently a shipwreck is the best place to find treasures, and she invited me to go to one with her and flounder some day!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv39366%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5563283347nu0mrj

After we left the Grotto we met back up with Dad. We decided to visit the sideshow at the circus as our last character greeting for the night. We met Daisy Fortuna and Minnie Magnifique first, which took about 20 minutes. They also left while we were waiting, but only once. We met Daisy first, and she was absolutely hilarious and super sassy! After I got a photo with her, she demanded to have a photo taken with Dad. She would absolutely not take no for an answer! It was totally adorable.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A988%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5539%3A%3B4347nu0mrj

Minnie was also adorable, but the funniest thing about her was her photographer! This guy was so funny, loud, and energetic. He had Minnie and I do this fun pose:
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38%3B%3A2%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C5564338347nu0mrj

Meeting them was tons of fun, and once we were done we got right in line for the Great Goofini and the Astounding Donaldo. Their line only took bout 10 minutes.
Goofini was first, and he was so great. He acted all shy, and his photographer asked if he wanted to take me on a date! I thought that was pretty funny, especially because just a week or two before Goofy's son Max was also wanting to take me out. I love Goofy, though, so I didn't mind.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38%3B93%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C55642%3C4347nu0mrj

Last but not least was Donaldo. He was also a lot of fun, and very sassy.

We said goodbye to our circus friends and headed back into Fantasyland. We decided to ride Buzz Lightyear on our way out of the park and then head home. We made it over to Tomorrowland and only waited about 10 minutes for Buzz. I went with Dad, and we had a good time just shooting for fun.
Once we got off we made our way out of the park. It was 8:00, which was parade time, so the back exit was open. That makes it so much easier to get out, so that was great.
Once we exited the park we made it to the boat dock, where a boat was just pulling out. It's always a bummer when you just miss it, but another one came within 10 minutes. We climbed aboard and were on our way home in no time. We got back to the Fort and walked back home where Sam and Travis were waiting for us. It was a little after 8:30 now, and we spent the rest of the night just hanging out and watching some TV. We got to bed around 9:30 with plans of going to Animal Kingdom tomorrow afternoon!
What had started out as a not so great day turned out to be really awesome! But how could going to Magic Kingdom, riding a few rides, and meeting a bunch of characters not make a person feel better?

Because I wasn't feeling well I didn't bring my camera to the park, so I apologize that the only photos in this update are PhotoPass pictures of me with characters.

I was just feeling awful, and the sun and crowds were not helping at all

Ugh...I can't imagine...sucks to not feel well when you are at WDW.

I was actually feeling better at this point, which was great.

So glad you didn't have to suffer through the whole day feeling terrible.

But how could going to Magic Kingdom, riding a few rides, and meeting a bunch of characters not make a person feel better?
I'm so glad to hear that!!!

Thank you so much! There were probably only a couple or so days that one of didn't feel well, which is amazing for being there for 3 months!

Sounds like your night turned out great for not feeling well. Your photo pass pictures are cute! Your dad is such a good sport!

Today was Wednesday, and we all woke up feeling great! Our morning was filled with the usual school and work, and everyone was able to get all their stuff done by lunchtime! Mom made lo mein around noon, and we ate outside at our picnic table.
Once we were done we did the dishes and cleaned up, then we got ready to go to Animal Kingdom! We got our stuff together, packed our backpacks, and were off to the bus stop by 1:15. We didn't have to wait too long for either bus, and we ended up getting to AK around 1:40.
We entered the park, and as we were walking towards the Tree of Life we noticed that some of the construction walls had come down! You could now see the new garden area right in front of the Tree, and it was gorgeous. We got our picture taken with PhotoPass, but the photos ended up getting lost, so that was a bummer. :(
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv334%3C2%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C554%3C%3B4%3B347nu0mrj

The first thing we did was get in line to meet Dug and Russell from Up. They meet right there near the entrance, so we just hopped in line. It only took about 15 minutes, and we had a really fun meet. Sam had a Dug pin on his lanyard, and Dug flipped out! He was so excited. Russell was disappointed that Sam didn't have one of him, but he assured Russell that he would get one as soon as he could. I asked Dug if he had seen any squirrels lately, and he showed me that he actually had a squirrel chew toy! It was really cute.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv372%3C5%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C554%3C%3B54347nu0mrj

Once we said goodbye, we headed over to Dinoland! We talked about trying to meet a few other characters, but it just didn't work into our timing today.
We had Dinosaur FastPasses from 1:30-2:30 so we used those first. The ride must have been broken down, though, because when we got there the line was backed up almost all the way to the main entrance. We weren't sure what was going on so we got in line anyway, but it ended up taking close to 30 minutes. We got there eventually, though, and we had a good ride.
When we got off Dinosaur and made a stop at the bathroom, we saw that Primeval Whirl only had a 10 minute wait, so that's what we did next. The boys went together while Mom and I went with a nice woman and her little boy.
Once we got off Primeval Whirl, or 3:00-4:00 FP for Everest was just about ready! The Everest FP line seemed to get backed up easily, especially if the ride broke down that day, but thankfully today the line was short! We waited about 10 minutes before boarding our train. I rode with Travis, and we had seats right in the middle.
After barely escaping the hands of the Yeti, we stopped to have a snack before venturing onto the Maharajah Jungle Trek. We got to see the bats, tigers, and the pretty birdies!

We even got to see our friend the pheasant again! He was whooping like crazy again today.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38549%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C554%3C%3B88347nu0mrj

Once we said goodbye to our birdie friends we headed out of the jungle and out of Asia. Our next destination was Africa where we used our 4:00-5:00 FP's for the safari! The line was backed up all the way to where you scan your bands, but it moved super fast and only took about 5-10 minutes. The regular line only had about a 30 minute wait, which wasn't surprising because of the low crowd level that day.
We boarded our safari vehicle and we were off to see some wildlife! We had a really good safari, with sightings of hippos, mandrill monkeys, cheetahs, rhinos, and more!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B3%3A2%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C554%3C%3B%3A2347nu0mrj

232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B979%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C555%3C%3A%3C4347nu0mrj

232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv35677%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C555%3C%3A%3C%3B347nu0mrj

When we were almost to the end of our safari, some troublesome rhinos got in the way! There were about 4 of them that would just not get out of the middle of the road. Then they would move out of the way, but just move right back into the road again! It probably ended up taking close to 20-30 minutes extra, but it was fun to watch them.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3497%3B%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C555%3C%3B34347nu0mrj

Once we were finally able to make it to the end and get off, it was about 4:40. The park closed at 5:00, so we decided to head out now. We started making our way out of the park, and on our way we saw this little guy out running around in one of the animal areas they have near the exit.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv39245%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C555%3C%3B3%3A347nu0mrj

He's some sort of little deer, and he was really cute to watch. We made it to the bus stop, and it was only a few minutes before our bus arrived. We had a nice ride back to the Fort, and once we were there it wasn't too long before our internal bus came.
Once we were back at the RV we unpacked our backpacks and had dinner, which was just leftovers or sandwiches. After dinner we pretty much just hung out at the RV. I edited some pictures, we watched some TV, and Travis played his video game. Mom had made brownies that morning, so we ate brownies and ice cream together. We went to bed around 10:00 with plans off visiting Epcot the next afternoon!
We had an amazing day today, getting to meet Dug and Russell, seeing the new Tree of Life garden, and getting to see some animals that aren't always out! Plus the crowd level was extremely low, so that was nice.

Today we woke up around 8:00 and got started on our day. After getting ready, we spent the morning taking care of our school and work. Mom made chicken for lunch around noon, and afterwards we started getting ready to head to Epcot! We packed sandwiches for dinner, got all of our other stuff together, and we were out the door around 1:15. We waited a total of about 20 minutes for buses, and we arrived at the park around 1:40.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv37978%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C333347nu0mrj

After going through bag check and entering the park, we took a family photo in front of Spaceship Earth. We saw that Pluto was out greeting near the entrance and there were only like 3 people in his line, so we decided to wait. Mom waited with me while Sam traded pins and Dad and Travis went over to Club Cool. It only took about 5-10 minutes to meet him, and he was super cute! Unfortunately the PhotoPass photos with him and also the photos we took at the park entrance somehow got lost. :(

Once we were done meeting Pluto we met up with the boys at Club Cool. We took some time to try some sodas before heading out and splitting up. After discussing a plan, Mom, Travis, and Sam decided to go ride Test Track in the single rider line while Dad and I went to go meet some characters!
We started off with Mulan in China. We made it over there and waited about 15 minutes to see her. She was really sweet, and super fun to talk to. I had on a shirt with Aladdin and Jasmine on it, and she told me the story of how when Aladdin and Jasmine were on their first magic carpet ride, the rode over China and saw fireworks. Well, those fireworks just so happened to be the same fireworks Mulan set off on the roof of the Emperor's palace to destroy the Huns! She said she tried to call out to Aladdin and Jasmine for help, but they never came.
Something wonky must have been happening with PhotoPass today, because I don't have these photos either. The only one Dad got is blurry, but you can still get the gist.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38745%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C356347nu0mrj

Up next we met Donald in Mexico! We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for him. He was very funny, and he also took notice of my shirt. He started playing a game of charades, and it was Dad who finally figured out that he was miming out the scene from Mickey's Philharmagic where he's with Aladdin and Jasmine on the magic carpet. He was very proud because that show is all about him.
It was a really fun interaction, and he even made Dad get in the picture, too!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv39375%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C378347nu0mrj

Donald's handler was this super sweet British girl, and she really loved my shirt too. I got so many complements on it this day!
Once we said goodbye, we called Mom to find out where they were. They were hanging out at Innoventions, so we headed over there. When we got there Travis was just getting off Sum of All Thrills. Mom and Sam were finishing up their virtual coaster, and they came off a few minutes later. It was 3:00 now, and we had Character Spot FastPasses from 4:00-5:00. We had about an hour to kill, so we decided to do some stuff in Innoventions. The first thing we did was the Vision House, which we had never done before. It's pretty much a tour of this ultra green and efficient home. They teach you about new smart technology and how to keep your home green. It was an interesting thing to do, but honestly pretty boring.
In the girl's bedroom they had a Kim Possible doll hiding in the clothes hamper, which I thought was a cute touch.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B685%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C37%3A347nu0mrj

After that we did Storm Struck, which is an interactive 3D show. They teach you about how to guard your house against severe weather, and it's really fun! The audience gets to vote for what they think is the safer option to protect the house.
Once we were done with that, it was just about time for our FP. We headed over to the Character Spot and only had to wait a couple minutes before we could scan our bands and go in. Once we were inside we waited about 5 minutes before meeting our first character, which was Mickey. We got a family photo with him, but silly PhotoPass was being stubborn so we don't have the pictures.
Goofy was next, and Dad got some pictures of us kids with him.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv34844%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C383347nu0mrj

Last but not least was Minnie, and she was really cute. She really liked Sam!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv35573%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C385347nu0mrj

Once we were done there, we decided to head into the World Showcase! As we were on our way over there we ended up being in the right place at the right time, because as we were walking all of a sudden Cinderella appeared out of nowhere! You have to understand, Cinderella has been my favorite princess since I was old enough to even watch movies. When I saw her walking out I flipped. I was the first person to spot her, and I stopped dead in my tracks, my mouth gaping. I was able to walk right up to her and start talking to her. I feel like I kept pretty calm on the outside, but on the inside I was squealing like a little girl. I was on cloud nine guys, like I'm not kidding. This experience practically made my life. We talked to her for a bit about our pins, she asked me if Travis and Sam were my knights, and we got some photos together!

Of course I had to get one with just Cinderella.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv36894%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C394347nu0mrj

She asked me if I had a prince, and I told her no. She told me that this is how you pose when you are waiting for your prince to come so he can take you to a ball.
Once we said goodbye, I pretty much floated away. I literally could not stop giggling, and I will absolutely never forget that ultra special character experience.
We continued on our way to World Showcase, and we headed towards Canada. My family was kind enough to let me meet some more characters, so we skipped through Canada into France were you can meet Belle and Aurora. We went over to where Aurora greets first, but for some reason she wasn't there that day. When we asked they just said that Aurora had business to attend to at the Magic Kingdom.
Belle's line was pretty long, so we went next door to Morocco to check on Aladdin and Jasmine's line. It was already closed for their next greeting time, so we just decided to wait for Belle. Mom and Sam waited with me while Dad and Travis went to hold a place in line for Aladdin and Jasmine's next time. Waiting in line to meet characters is definitely not Travis' favorite thing, but he was being a good sport.
We ended up waiting about 20-30 minutes to see Belle, but it wasn't that bad. She was really sweet, and she complemented me on my shirt!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A964%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C836347nu0mrj

It was about 5:00 when we were done meeting Belle, so we went over to meet Dad and Travis to discuss our plan for the rest of the night. We stood in line and talked about what everyone wanted to do. The boys did not want to wait for Aladdin and Jasmine, so they decided to eat dinner now and then go do something else together. Mom and I would wait in line, maybe meet one more character, and then go from there. The boys took the backpack and went to find a place to eat while we continued to wait. While we were in line a bunch of people commented on my shirt! It was just super popular that day.
We ended up waiting a little over 30 minutes to see them, but oh my goodness was it worth it! This was one of my favorite character experiences for sure.
As soon as it was my turn, Aladdin and Jasmine saw my shirt and freaked out! They loved it so much. They talked to me for quite a while about how the picture was from their first magic carpet ride together. Jasmine was talking about how it was so romantic, then she mentioned how they flew over China and saw fireworks! I got really excited and told her how Mulan was just telling me about that earlier, and how it was her who set them off. Jasmine got excited too and said she remembered seeing Mulan there on the roof. She said that Mulan was so sweet to set those fireworks off just for them! It was really cool the way the two experiences tied together, and Aladdin is my favorite prince so that made it that much better.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3486%3A%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C83%3B347nu0mrj

I got lots of hugs from both of them, then we had to say goodbye.
We met the boys outside where they handed the backpack off to us. We had a FP for Soarin' that they were going to go use, then they planned on heading home. Mom and I decided that we would meet Snow White, then if the FP was still good we would ride Soarin' before heading home.
We headed over to Germany where we got in line for Snow White. It ended up taking about 20 minutes, and we ate our sandwiches while we were waiting. While we were eating a squirrel came over and tried to be our friend. He wasn't afraid at all, and he came really close to touching us! He practically jumped into our bag. We weren't too keen on that, so we tried to shoo him away and eat as fast as we could. Soon enough it was our turn, and we had a nice meet. Snow didn't really say much, but she was very sweet.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv36236%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C839347nu0mrj

Once we were done meeting Snow, we noticed that the sun was setting beautifully.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv34%3A%3B2%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C7%3C%3A347nu0mrj

At this point we had to decide what to do. Our Soarin' FP's were still good, but we really didn't feel like walking all the way across to the other side of the park. So instead we decided to ride Test Track in the single rider line. We walked through the rest of the World Showcase and made our way over there. The single rider line was only about 10 minutes, and I rode with a nice family.
Once we got off we started making our way out of the park. Mom and I had a really nice night together!
As we approached our bus stop we noticed that our bus was pulling in! We ran over there, but it ended up being unnecessary because they did a driver switch which took about 10 minutes. We were on our way soon enough, and after stopping at Wilderness Lodge we made it back to the Fort. We waited about 5 minutes for our internal bus, and we were back at the RV a little before 7:30.
We spent the rest of the night just hanging out and relaxing. Dad told us about some guy that he saw freak out when he was holding our place in line for Aladdin and Jasmine. I guess the line was closed and he was not happy. He was yelling at the cast member, and Dad felt really bad.
We hung out until around 10:00, when we went to bed. Today had been another amazing day, and we were looking forward to spending some time at Hollywood Studios tomorrow!

Great updates! I don't think I've ever seen a pictures of the hippos on the safari not in the water. What a great night you had meeting characters! It must be nice to spend that time with your mom. I hope you cherish it always.

Did your dad go with you all to Animal Kingdom that day?

Great character meets at Epcot! The Cinderella pictures turned out especially well, and I like the way the monorail was going by in the background of the picture of just you and her.

Can your group split up for fast passes? A friend told me that last year at WDW they could not use their fast pass until everyone in the party was there. I have never wanted to take time away from rides, parades & fireworks to wait for character meets. You are helping me change my attitude because you have had some excellent interactions with characters!

I think they meant that if the whole party is going to ride together, then they all must get in line together at the same time. If they are going to ride separately, or if some have decided not to ride at all, they don't all have to be there.

Yup, she's right! Everyone who's riding should be there to get in line together so that people don't have to cut through the line to catch up with their party. But if you have the same fast pass and someone doesn't want to ride, they don't have to be there.

Meeting characters is so fun! You should definitely try to meet at least a few of your favorites.

Today was Friday, and we decided to switch things up for a change! Instead of doing our work in the morning and going to a park in the afternoon, we headed to Hollywood Studios for rope drop and did our work when we got home.
The park opened at nine, so we got ready, got all the stuff we needed (we didn't pack lunch because we planned on being home by 1:00), and we were out the door around 8:00. We decided to drive the truck down to the main bus stop so that we didn't have to wait for an internal bus. When we were just about down to the Outpost, Mom realized that she had forgotten something, so we had to turn around. We got back to the RV, Mom got what she needed, and we were on our way once again! On our way we saw a guy filming himself doing some tricks on a pogo stick. He wasn't very good though, as he kept falling over!
We made it down to the Outpost, parked the truck in the lot, and walked across the street to the bus stop. It was only a couple of minutes before our bus pulled in, and we were on our way to Hollywood! We arrived a little after 8:30, and it was already wicked crowded. We were pretty far back in the line to get in, but it wasn't too bad. The crowd kept gathering behind us, though, and pretty soon the lines were all the way backed up to the bag check!
They started letting people in about 5 minutes to 9:00, and as soon as we were able to scan our bands we headed straight for Toy Story Mania. Despite the large crowd in front of us, once we got in the line it only took about 10 minutes until we were on the ride. I rode with Sam, and we had a good ride. Nobody beat their personal high score, but I got 222,000 which was the high score of the day!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3C76%3A%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C%3A%3B3347nu0mrj

We had a 9:00-10:00 FastPass or TSM, so once we got off we were able to ride again. We pretty much walked right on, and this time I went by myself. It's a lot harder to get a high score when you're by yourself, so I didn't do too well. My other score was still the high of the day, though!

After our two rides, it was time to move on. The carriage from the new Cinderella movie was on display in the park, so we headed over to the Streets of America to check it out. The carriage was absolutely beautiful, and they even had a PhotoPass photographer there to take pictures. There was a little line, but it was only like five people long so we decided to wait. Thankfully PhotoPass was working for us once again, but unfortunately the shadows kind of ruined the photo.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv335%3C7%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A%3A45347nu0mrj

It was still really amazing to see, and it's so cool that it's the actual one they used to film in the movie. The detail on that thing is insane!
Once we were done there, we decided to head over to Star Tours. The line for that only took 10 minutes, and we had a really good sequence. We got the Wookie scene, which we hadn't seen yet on this trip!
Once we got off Star Tours it was time to split up. Mom, Sam, and Travis were going to ride Rock n Rollercoaster in the single rider line while Dad and I met some characters! So they headed over there while Dad and I made our way over to where Phineas and Ferb meet. We got in line for them and only had to wait about 10 minutes to see them. We had really good timing, because right after we got in line a Muppet Vision show let out, and the exit to the show is right where Phineas and Ferb are.
Meeting them was a lot of fun, and they were really sweet.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B938%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C577%3C%3A%3B7347nu0mrj

Once we were done there we went over to where Mike and Sully meet, which is near where Backlot Tour used to be. We got over there and were literally able to walk right up to them! They were super adorable, and I pretty much fell in love with Sully. He really is like a big kitty!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv37%3A38%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A%3A39347nu0mrj

After I hugged Sully I went over to Mike, but I quickly realized that it is extremely awkward trying to hug a giant eyeball. We posed with monster faces together, and it was just a really fun meet.
After that we had time for one more character, so we headed over to the main courtyard to see who was out there. Pluto and Goofy were out at the time, and I had already seen Goofy, so we got in line for Pluto! It took about 15 minutes before it was our turn, and while we were waiting we saw a ton of crazy people. There seemed to be quite a few foreign tour groups there, and Pluto's handler had her hands full trying to keep people from running up to Pluto and trying to get pictures or hug him.
Soon it was our turn, and Pluto was really cute. He hugged me and pretended to lick me!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3B5%3B4%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A9%3C7347nu0mrj

Once we were done meeting Pluto, we headed over to Sunset Boulevard to meet up with the rest of the gang. We had FastPasses for Tower of Terror, but they weren't good for another 20 minutes, so we decided to go over to the Animation Courtyard.
We went inside the animation building and got in line for the drawing class. We only had to wait about 10 minutes until the next class, which was awesome. We had a really great instructor, and we got to draw Pooh Bear! He's pretty simple to draw, but still a lot of fun.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38494%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A9%3C%3A347nu0mrj

After the drawing class we decided to get in line to meet Sorcerer Mickey. His line took about 15 minutes, and it was really fun to meet him! Travis was slightly upset with me because I had decided that I wasn't going to ride Tower of Terror, so he sat the photo out.
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3%3A566%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A%3A5%3A347nu0mrj

Once we were done meeting Mickey our FP's were ready, so we all headed back over to ToT. Everyone except me and Travis rode, and we waited out in the gift shop. It was about 20 minutes before they came off, and they had a good ride!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv3353%3A%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A%3A58347nu0mrj

It was a little after 12:00 now, so we decided to head home for lunch. We made our way out of the park, and on the way out we stopped to get a picture!
232323232%7Ffp83232%3Euqcshlukaxroqdfv38545%3Enu%3D539%3A%3E23%3B%3E256%3EWSNRCG%3D35%3C578%3A%3A56347nu0mrj

We made it over to our bus stop, and a bus was waiting for us there! We hopped on and were on our way home. To be honest, nobody had been in an awesome mood that morning, but by the time we got back home, spirits seemed to be lifted. There was this really funny guy on our bus that was beyond lost. He had no idea where he was going, and from what we overheard from his conversation with the bus driver, he had mistaken Fort Wilderness for Wilderness Lodge. The bus driver was trying to explain to him how he could get from the Fort to the Lodge by bus, but the poor guy was so confused!
Once we got back to the Fort, we hopped in the truck and drove back to the RV. Mom had made a Mexican chicken dish in the crock pot that morning, so we ate that for lunch. Afterwards we spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging out at the RV and around the Fort.
The guy who came to fix our leak the other day apparently didn't do it right, because it never stopped leaking. So, he was back again today trying to repair it. He wasn't there for very long though, and we were hoping that he had really fixed it this time.
Dad and Sam left around 1:30 to go out and do some stuff for the business. That left Travis, Mom, and I to occupy ourselves for the rest of the day. We worked on our school for a little bit, then I spent quite a bit of time editing my photos while Travis was playing the video game and Mom did some knitting.
Around 3:30 Travis and I decided to go swimming, so we got changed and headed down to the pool. While we did that Mom decided to go for a bike ride. Travis and I had fun swimming around and going in the hot tub. The weather wasn't exactly ideal for swimming for most people, so it wasn't very crowded.
We headed back to the RV after about 45 minutes, and Mom got back just a few minutes after we did. Travis and I got showered off and changed, and by this time it was a little after 4:30. We hung out at the RV until about 5:30, when we had dinner, which was just sandwiches. I finished editing my pictures around 6:30, and we spent the rest of the night relaxing inside. Toy Story 3 was playing on the big screen tonight, but it was a little cold to go sit outside and watch a movie.
We spent the rest of the night playing cards and watching TV. We went to bed around 10:00, and Dad and Sam got home shortly after that.
The day had started off kind of rough, but it turned out to be really great! The next day was Valentine's Day, and we planned on spending some time at the Magic Kingdom!

Nice report - like you writing. I did not realize you were writing about February till the end of your report -
I wondered why your family was dressed in warm clothing.

LOL about how you tried to hug a "giant eyeball"! Awkward indeed!

Did Travis sit out of ToT to keep you company?

Thank you! Haha, yes, this was back in February.

Neither of us are big fans of the ride, and we'd both only ridden it once before. We were going to ride it together but I backed out, so he didn't want to ride without me. We do end up riding later in the trip, though!

We went inside the animation building and got in line for the drawing class.

I'm so so sad that this is closing soon. You are fortunate to have gotten to do it a few times during your trip!

The next day was Valentine's Day, and we planned on spending some time at the Magic Kingdom!

That sounds awesome...I look forward to hearing about it and if MK does anything special..
