Has anyone been on this tour at Disneyland? It seems to be reasonable and a good way to see Disneyland more "in depth" than just walking around. We've only been once before - quite a while ago - so I'm thinking it's a good idea? Any thoughts???:confused3

We went on it about 6 years ago and really liked it. My kids are young now so I haven't attempted again.

Great - I appreciate it. We're trying to plan ahead and this one looks the best for us. Let me know how it goes :thumbsup2

MunkyMe - did you get to do this on Saturday? How was it???

We took the tour last Saturday and really enjoyed it. Many DL facts that we didn't know.

Cool - that's what we're hoping for too. Not just a vist (which is great, for sure), but to learn something more about Disneyland. Thanks!

We decided the day before to try and see if any time slots were open since the parks were pretty crowded and we'd never done this before. We had a 2PM tour and it included a sandwich, chips or fruit and drink at the end of the tour.

I know Munky did it on Saturday, we met up after! :) She really enjoyed it and I'm just about convinced to shell out for it myself! lol I'm sure she'll be by to reply soon.....we are both pretty tired from our drives home yesterday. :) She's in AZ and up North in CA but it's about the same distance.

It was amazing!!! I loved it so much!!! DH and I learned a lot! Its definitely worth the money and the lunch was good too.

Excellent - I'll definitely book this for when we're down in May then!! I want to do a couple of interesting things that we never did when we were down a couple of years ago. So we'll be going to the Mickey's Toon Town Madness and some of the shows - and now we'll add this tour too!

This thread just convinced me and the kids to try this tour as well. We are AP holders but usually go for the rides and come home. Our last visit there on Sat 3-1-08 we came across some fun trivia and the kids had a blast with the Hidden Mickey book. Now I think I need more trivia and this looks like a perfect start for us...

Planning a trip this summer. How far in advance does one book these? I usually go to WDW and have done a tour there, and really enjoyed the trivia! How long does this tour last?

We did this last September and really enjoyed it - lots of great little bits of Disney trivia and our guide was fantastic - I recommend it if you want to look at Disneyland a bit differently and do something different :)

I think we booked it 30 days out.........the tour started at 9:30 and finished about 1pm - the cost also included lunch which was served at the end of the tour.

We did it last year and we really enjoyed it. I liked that lunch when we went was in the art gallery which is now the Dream Suite.

Thanks for your responses. I think I'd really like it. Now to decide if that's how I want to spend part of my one day at the park....I'm a WDW vet, and have been to DL once, waaay back. This trip will be a nostalgia "wallow"...:lmao:

Is there a minimum age requirement to do the tour?
How difficult is it to get reservations? Is it possible to get them the week b/4?
And lastly, how much does it cost?

Thanks so much:goodvibes

Hi,

Great info. We are planning on doing this on our visit next month. I have a couple of questions.

Do you pay for the tour when you book or do you pay when you arrive for the tour?

They offer a discount for Disney Visa holders which I have. Do I have to pay for it with my Disney Visa to get the discount?

What time is it usually offered?

Thanks,

Bug
