I really enjoyed the Gatorland segment even though the odds of me ever going are slim to none. It was just plain funny but let's talk about gravity and zigzaging for a moment.
But for external conditions, namely atmospheric drag, objects of different weight fall at the same speed. (Forget extremely massive objects such as stars.) Apollo 15 Astronaut Dave Scott dropped a hammer and a feather on the moon and both fell at the same rate. The video is on youtube.
According to mythbusters, Zigzaging isn't the best way to get away from a crocodile because they rarely attack from land. They prefer to ambush their targets from the water with a lightning-fast lunge. You just have to avoid the first lunge which is very easy for me since I have no desire to go near a croc.
