4 Parks in 3 Days!! EPCOT w/F&W & MK w/MNSSHP~1880 pics so far! DHS almost complete!

Wow, this thread is moving along quickly! All caught up!

I liked both DTDs, but I think I slightly like the DL one better just for the night time atmosphere. That being said, we didn't really see much of the WDW one at night. Just one end of it. Both are fun though!

Love all your photos. Love that you can buy a gift card for the F&W stuff. That would be handy instead of shelling out cash everywhere!

Did not know that the food at Garden Grill was the stuff grown there, but makes total sense. How cool!

Yeah Laurie I really enjoy SE and it is always a fave and our first stop. We have enjoyed going through innoventions because they have a few cool interactive things but obviously someone on your short schedule wouldn't have time for that. We usually do 2 days at Epcot and 2 at MK when we go and then 1 each for the other two. I could prob even do HS in 1/2 a day if I wasn't going to the Osborne Lights. Just not that much there I care to do.

And I agree I don't like stuff I can do at DL. I can't do MS, makes me sick but LOVE Test Track and can't wait to see the changes. We also like the club cool with all the different drinks and of course LWTL. LOVE the seasons food court in the Land Building.

Ellen's adventure may sound weird but it is SO cool and different than any other ride I have ever been on that I think you would really like it. The entire theater moves and you go to different areas and then they have all these dinosaurs at the end that are like the ones in the train at DL but you like float through the middle like you are on a boat. It's pretty cool.

We also enjoy journey into your imagination but without the kids you probably wouldn't be that into it.

It's funny when I first went Epcot was my LEAST fav park because it didn't seem like it had that many rides and it was "educational" and I wanted pure ride fun but now it is one of my faves. Love exploring WS and esp F&W is my fav time. I could spend two days just "eating round the world" LOL.

Anxious for your next update! :)

I agree!! Did you know that California Adventure would have been Westcot? Here's some information from Yesterland:

Thank You Kaitlin for those links......I had never heard that before & found it very interesting. I would have loved to have seen that come to be!!

The F&W bracelet was convenient. I was either using my MagicBand for the snack credits or I was using the bracelet to pay for stuff. I never had to dig out money or a wallet.

When I was first researching at WDW trip 2 yrs ago.......EPCOT didn't really interest me.....but the more I researched and read & saw pics, the more interested I got. It was my favorite park! We did do the Journey into Imagination......more on that later!

I have a couple appts this afternoon, so might not be able to update today......just depends!

Loving it! Love the pics of you and Derek embracing, I was choked up! :sad1:
Epcot is probably my favorite park @ WDW. I love everything about it! The countries, the culture, Illuminations, the characters, the food (of course) F & W is wonderful, the rides (not MS for me) I have to say that I much prefer Radiator Springs Racers to Test Track, but that's just me. The Land ride is one of my favorites, I loved learning about their innovative ways they grow things, and the fact that they use the produce in their restaurant is so dang cool! :thumbsup2

I also love just riding on the monorail, so your pics & report of the ride is right up my alley! We stayed at the Poly, so that is near & dear to my heart. So convenient to getting to the parks with the monorail right there!

Can't wait to go again, sort of pre planning for a trip in 2015 right now!

I love the pictures!! This will be my first trip since 2010 so I'm excited to see the changes that happened since then.

I too prefer Radiator Springs Racers to Test Track.....the outside part is pretty fun at Test Track.....since it's all fast....but you can't beat the story line & scenery at RSR!!!

I love the pictures!! This will be my first trip since 2010 so I'm excited to see the changes that happened since then.

Thanks!! I'm sure there are lots of changes!

I can't tell you how much I am enjoying your pictures. You capture some little details and have a great perspective.

I love DTD as night, so sad I did not make it there this trip. But can't wait for the redo!

I LOVE Living with the Land. It was a hidden gem that I stumbled upon my first trip...and now a must. I was a little disappointed in not getting to see any mickey pumpkins. My wish list has Behind Seed Tour on it!

Thank You......my hubby took a large number of the pics, but I tend to take the close up pics. (I also like to point out angles to him for pics....lol)

I wanted to see the Mickey Pumpkins too!! I know I've seen where they've grown other things in those molds as well.

Very strange that you did not see any Mickey pumpkins in Living with the land. Every trip I have taken in the past 5 years has had the mickey pumpkin:confused3

We left The Land building and headed to Club Cool to try out some different drinks from around the world.

There are a couple drink stations with I believe 4 sets of the Flavors Around the World fountain drinks. There were 2 countries that they were out of~~Costa Rica & Germany.

My favorite was China's watermelon drink....yum!

I tasted all of them but the Beverly drink.....I had heard about this one. Mike had tried it and said "it really didn't have any flavor". So I grabbed a little sip!! Choke, gag, sputter.............EWWWWWWW!! I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth! I can't believe the people of Italy would actually pay for that to drink!! Ick!

PS: If you are a Coca-Cola collector....you will go nuts in this building. Lots & lots of Coke stuff!!! I used to collect but have sold off my stuff......probably a good thing!!

Ocean Spray had set up a mini cranberry bog.

They were even handing out free samples of their Craisins. They are good!

One more look at Spaceship Earth and the fountain.

The Imagination Building.

We crossed the bridge to head into the World Showcase. I took pics of the different Food & Wine signage.

Mike took pictures of the different countries across the lake.

Maybe they were using them through out the parks & resorts??

We picked up a Food & Wine Passport to have stamped as we made our way around the world. We put Derek in charge of that. We didn't eat at every station.....so he'd go up and collect our stamps. We started our trip by going to the left & moving in a clockwise motion. First stop was "TERRA". We didn't get anything here.

Mickey & Duffy!!

Next was "BRAZIL". We used 2 snack credits here.

While Derek & I was in line, Mike took some more pics across the lake.

These birds were everywhere.

Another Food & Wine sign.

One more across the lake.

Here's our first dish from Brazil~~Seared Scallop with a ragout of tomatoes, peppers & hearts of palm over rice. DELICIOUS!!

Next up, also from Brazil~~Crispy Pork Belly with black beans, onion, avocado & cilantro. This was Mike's & Derek's favorite dish. I liked it as well.....delicious but I'm a sucker for seafood!! (where the guys are suckers for bacon!!)

The next country was "ARGENTINA".

We used another snack credit to get the Beef Empanada. It was ok....nothing special.

That's a good thought :thumbsup2

Love club cool

That beverly is nasty :scared:

How cool they had cranberry bog :goodvibes

Most of the drinks were ok.....but the Beverly was awful! Mike realized the one he had tried wasn't actually giving you any of the flavor syrup. So when he retried it from a different drink station....he realized how truly bad it was! :crazy2:

Mike used to work with a guy (when they were paramedics) whose family owned a cranberry bog. We have a few of them in Oregon!!

Scotty loves cranberries so he would have loved to see that.

Awww!!

I believe that a yum hops would work here!! There are some quite interesting foods on here.

I will no way try Beverly!!!

Great updates!!
