Pappy, good deal , just called to check on our's. No reduction as of yet for GC concierge. Bummer. Might have used those points to get a Cat 4. We will see. The DL points chart on the DVC member site is unavailable at this time.

We will have a chance to see the Southern Cross for sure. Crux will be due south and about 20’ above the horizon on 5/20 at this hour. How KEWL!!!! I know I am easily amused.

Hey Scott! Will one night be better viewing than another? DH + I love to stargaze, and neither one of us has ever seen it. Maybe you could point it out to us one of these upcoming 14 nights? :goodvibes

On another note: So glad the "firstborn" loved his oatmeal today! Will keep this precious puppy in prayer and wrapped in hugs! :grouphug:

On yet another note: 3DAN... look what you started... one BIG happy hour!

bottle of beer? drink tetleys from the pump much nicer

Sure... but I'm sure I'm going to get grief for trying to drag a rolling softsided cooler on board... now let me explain to Disney security a keg of Tetleys!

You could always bring some along as a sailaway gift to those of us who appreciate the finer stuff. However, I'm betting that you will be nearing your luggage limit as it is!

I'm thinking about going in with the girls at Palo if we're allowed to laugh too loudly and annoy the couples.

Oh heck, Cath, Would we have it any other way... Maybe we could arrange some table top dancing or sponser a salad fork food fight. :cool1:

how about I bring some Billy Tea from an Aussie friend...that will wake you up in the morning!

So, for all you folks who reserved through Costco, I called last night to check on my documents, and they haven't been printed yet. :sad2: They are estimating within the next week. Sigh.

Christine, unless I missed it, no one said who Christy Carlson Romano is.
If memory serves me right(iron chef), she is the singer who sings the theme song for "Kim Possible" the cartoon. Big hit, particularly with the kids. I believe that when she was on the cruise, 10 day Christmas, she did a show and also went up to the girls sing along. Apparently the girls were floored!!!!
C'mon Christmas cruisers, is this correct?
Bill

I was on several months ago seeing if anyone was interested in getting together with my son and wife to play some hold 'em. There was some interest and now that things are getting closer I will repose the question. We are bringing several decks of cards and chips. If we can get enough people interested in a ring game or two we may be able to rent one of the meeting rooms for a day or evening on a sea day. If we are lucky we may even get them to have a waiter bring us drinks. Speculating of course and all of this will come at a price but if we can get enough people interested I suspect the cost will be reasonable. Look forward to hearing from anybody with an interest in taking their chances and having alittle fun. Wes :earboy2:

91 bottles of beer on the wall, 91

pass it around,

90 bottles of beer
on the wall

Bill: I keep trying........ :goodvibes

We have already shipped down a brand new Texas hold'em " kit" , chips, dice, cards & what ever else. I would love to learn how to play if someone is up to teaching...

Bye, Kim

Christy Carlson Romano not only sings the theme song but is the voice of the Character Kim Possible. She also used to play Ren Stevens on the Disney sitcom "Even Stevens." She has been on a few Disney Movies too.

Dice? Did someone say dice? Hmmm... perhaps we could open our own casino on the secret Deck 7. We'd just have to figure out how to get "credits" from our KTTW cards!

Mikimous, That would be simple – It’s medicinal, get one of the docs coming along to cut a script for it.

Georgie, our best nights for seeing the Southern Cross would be 5/18-20. Not sure how far north we will be on the evening of 5/21. I have a sky chart printed out for that time period based on our Lat and Long.

I've heard worse from the Welsh! Hope to catch you in the pub on board... though I'm sure you'll be lamenting the lack of anything that closely resembles a good ale.

Hi everyone,

In case any one is interested we are posting this information. When we dock in Mazatlan my mother and myself are going to visit an orphanage run by the salvation army. Our contact at the Mazatlan Salvation Army is a lovely woman named Lenda McKay, she help run the 3 orphanages in the area. 2 of of the orphanages are for boys over 10 yrs and up to 20 yrs and the other orphanage ( the one we will personally visit) is for young boys 2 yrs to 10 yrs and girls of all ages. The orphanages need the following items,

summer shorts, flip flops, swim trunks ( for the boys orphanage's) and then beach toys, pretty much anything new that we want to bring. Dolls, trucks, hair accessories for the older girls, nerf footballs for the older boys.... We plan on shipping down 2 boxes of donations for the visit.

If anyone else is interested in coming we will probably be gone for a couple hours for a visit. Also if you are interested in making a donation and do not want to come in person you could bring the donation on the ship and get it to us and we would be glad to bring it. Just let us know which orphanage you want your donation to go to.

If you are interested or have any other questions we can forward you all the contact info.

Bye....

I'm up for poker!

But, considering my skill level, I'll only be playing the low stakes games.

(Should I bring a roll of pennies or nickels?)
