for me it is just excitement. i doubt anything will sell out before they get it up online esp 12/3. Thanksgiving night or that weekend is the only thing I'd mildly worry about.

I'm booked for 12/3 for the JBJB dessert party! Woot! That took a while because the CM was kind of difficult to work with. She just misunderstood me spelling my name, email, address, gift card number...pretty much everything I said. But she was pleasant and got the job done.

I've been contemplating the Wishes plaza viewing party on 11/30 as well. With PM EMHs and a non-party night, I think that night will be very busy. And I'm not having luck finding a CRT/BOG dinner time I like that day anyway. I'm currently holding an 8:15pm CRT and I'm wavering on it. I can't book the dessert party w/o cancelling the CRT due to the times though.

Hah! I wonder if we got the same CM! I had to repeat stuff so much my son woke up! She initially told me it was not bookable then asked me to spell my name and repeat my number twice then said my credit card number was rejected but in the end she noticed she just typed it on wrong.

there is some woman reporting that dates are sold out on the thread about it but upon further questioning it seems that she had a clueless phone cm so I don't think it really is sold out. I'd be shocked! It's only the dis crazies who are lighting up the phone lines. Apparently today is ALSO 180+ for most spring date dates as well so a busy day for dining even without this announcement.

haha this is why I like DVC. I key in my membership number, phone number, zip code and they verify it's me over the phone and they have all of my info. I was on my cell which is sketchy service here because i was on hold for 12 minutes when i decided to try that on my desk phone and didn't want to lose my place in the queue. People are now reporting 50+ minutes wait time!

Not sure if anyone else mentioned this. I saw Fairytale Hall FP open. I just got Cinderella with Elena. I wish Elena was with Rapunzel though. We have CRT breakfast then meet Elena and Cinderella.

yeah I was able to pay via gift card too. So it all worked out. We'll do a roll call when the dust settles to see who will be there.

I don't know. Touring Plans doesn't list the closure under their refurbishment section, and neither does the Disney website under the attraction info. It's only been on Kenny the Pirate from what I understand, so I don't know if it's confirmed or just a rumor.

calling back now for HWS dessert party ... checked to see if I could switch up plans and go on Saturday with those that are going, but it won't work. Was planning leaving AK early, but after I created my touring plan, we end up there until about 5:30. Need a somewhat early night because we have our marathon day on Sunday. HWD on Monday and hopefully dessert party!! Hold says over 30 minutes still.

I have a FP booked for the 4th that I haven't gotten a cancellation email for yet. I keep checking, but maybe they are redoing the AK ones first and will get to HM later? Who knows, really!

Thanks everyone! I did flip flip my dec 9 fp for it.... But who knows. The conflicting info everwhere, along with rumors and really random change in events is starting to frustrate me. Not that I've been really patient but now I'm just annoyed

The CM was super nice, but my wait time was quoted at more than 45 minutes, so I expected 45-60, not 90!

On hold now with trying to reserve 11/30 JBJB dessert party! I've been on hold for 12 minutes so far. Also going to inquire about seeing if my niece can grab at spot at BBB on 12/7 as well. I have a feeling no, but doesn't hurt to ask.

OOH I have heard too that when you check in you can tell them you don't want to do the package and they will just charge you for the dinner. This is a vague "coming back to me" memory of something I read on the boards once and filed it away for future reference but I am not 100% sure it is actually true or even still true. I think 5-5:15 is too late for F! so something might pop up!

I didn't even think of this, but using the DDP for an F! Package at H&V is still only 1 TS credit, right??

You are not the only one this happened to. At least one other person on a FB group I'm part of posted the contents of an email from Disney cancelling their FP for Kali. They were rebooked on a safari. They were on 12/3 and their window was from 4-5 for Kali. Their theory was it had to do with River of Lights!

Ruh roh...I have a Kali FP for 12/3 as well. DH is going to cancel the trip if I take that, HM, and SWGS away from him!!

If anyone is interested in the dessert party, it's bookable by phone already. Calling them now to book for 12/3, 20 min wait

So glad I checked the DIS and saw the notice!!

My Kali FP is for 11:30-12:30, which may be why it's not been affected since you guys are reporting you can move it earlier.

I asked for "Other" reservations, and the CM transferred me to Dining. I waited 3 mins initially, and then when she transferred me, I waited about 2 minutes. And that was around 12:30.

Booked the 12/3 party!! It's not SWGS, but DH loves Christmas and 3D so he may be okay with it.
