We are thinking about going in July. I've never been to a disney park on my birthday, so I'm trying to do that. So we would be there around the third to last week. I can't book yet, I'm still working on hubby!

that's very interesting about the guide! I also like the idea of the easy hikes, I think we could manage that. We are from New England and love to visit New Hampshire, where we can do small hikes to waterfalls. I am sure that they are nothing like whats in these parks! We are hoping to go in...

Never thought about over heating, that's a great point. Sadly the only time we can go is summer! It will be a longer trip for us and I don't want to take my daughter out that long. I had found pismo beach, or Grover beach, but the other two suggestions sound more like what he'd like to do...

Thinking about a trip out west, and looking at visiting Yosemite. How much time should we plan? Is it something you just drive through? as we are not big hikers.... From here we plan on heading to Vegas, then grand canyon. Any advice?

I just stayed at Kidani Village for the first time, by renting points thru Davids. I have to say it was wonderful. I have stayed at AKL also. I liked the pool better at Kidani, and absolutely loved the lanterns flickering at night when we returned. Davids rental asks guests to write a blog...

this is the first time I have rented DVC. I just noticed check in is at 4pm, I was planning on checking in much earlier then heading to parks. Is it possible to check in earlier? If not, will they hold bags like regular hotel so we can go to park?

I took everyone's advice, signed up for disneydiningbuddy, and am checking ALL the time! I have two days that I can go anytime, so I'm hoping that helps my chances. Now I am on a mission! Lol!!!
