So it looks like the original post that started this thread is closing in on 12 years old. Is the advice still valid? It's hard to believe that the menu system for reservations hasn't changed in over a decade. Can anyone who's booked a cruise more recently share the experience a bit?

I'm looking for something interesting to do for our wedding anniversary and happened upon the Illuminations Cruise. Would it be totally unreasonable to try and have a vow renewal there on the ship? Any way I could communicate that to the captain ahead of time to make sure he/she is okay/prepared...
