    Storybook Dining

I was able to get one for Sept. 12th, but it was at 180+8 days. That was the soonest we were able to book.

    Peritoneal Dialysis

I asked the nurse on Friday and she said 'just check it with your other luggage' hmm. now I'm a little worried. I'll call Southwest before we fly and ask for their recommendation.

    Peritoneal Dialysis

Thank you for the suggestions. I think the best bet is to speak to Disney and find out about them storing the boxes for us. For the machine, I just hope it gets there safely, I'll assume the airline takes special care of medical equipment.

    Peritoneal Dialysis

Unfortunately the case for the cycler is about the size of a large suitcase, so it is definitely not a a carry on. :(

    Peritoneal Dialysis

My mom just started PD in May and we would really like to take her with us one more time. Has anyone traveled while doing PD? We're thinking of taking a trip in May, but I'm not sure how this all works. I know we'd get a case for the cycler, but do I have to check that as regular luggage since...

First trip after spinal fusion (plus a walking boot)

I'll have my 16 year old to help me get in and out of rides, but I'm still in what the Dr. referred to as "the pre-fusion state". Which makes me worry about doing too much too son. I think I'll have to avoid any of the big stuff and stick to the slower rides for now.

First trip after spinal fusion (plus a walking boot)

I'll be going to DW next month and I will be 7 months post surgery. I had my L4-L5 fused, and have had some issues with my recovery due to foot problems preventing me from walking much. I still get sore and tired when I'm out and about all day, so I've rented an ECV to get around. I'm also...

We have 2 pirates & 3 princesses to feed!: Our March 2017 trip with the QSDP *FINAL UPDATE 4/25*

I'm in. You have a beautiful family! We usually do CS too, so I like to get an idea of what to try when we go. We'll be going in June and we get one CS meal a day with our reservation.

    Using an ECV Xmas week

We'll be in DL from the 25th to the 30th and I have severe pain from osteo arthritis that cause me to have problems walking. If I rent an ECV from an off site company are there any restrictions for using it in the DL resort? Other than the crowds I'll be trying to maneuver through. Thank you!

    Toiletries on Harmony?

Just the soap and the gel in the shower. My aunt asked her stateroom attendant and he gave her some lotion, shampoo and conditioner, but I never asked for anything else. If you need it, take it, because for example a bottle of White Rain hairspray was $5 plus tax and fee from the gift shop.

Love my Disney but just booked Harmony for 2017

Just cruised on the Harmony from 9/29 - 10/6 on a Mediterranean cruise and you will love the ship. There weren't as many shows and parades scheduled but I think that had more to do with us only having one day at sea. I also cruised on the Allure 2 years ago, and even though they are similar...

Twice As Nice & Double the Fun: an offsite October PTR where “2” is the magic number

Sorry for your family's loss. You are all in my prayers. I fell very behind on your PTR while I was on vacation and just read about 20 pages. Whew, that was a lot of stuff going on. Hopefully things start to settle down soon for you.

Do Your Teenage Boys Still Enjoy Disney?

My DS is 14 and he still enjoys our WDW trips, but he prefers Uni. We have to split our week between both so that we're both happy. The last couple of years, we've spent time in other destinations and he seems to like changing it up, but the annual WDW trip is always in the books. He's been...

Oh, The Places We’ll Go! From the “stars” to the “sea”: Universal, SeaWorld & beyond - Spring 2016

Took me a little while to get caught up again. Thank you for the advice on the character breakfast. My niece is supposed to call today and find out if we can do it on one of our Universal days. I also though I would mention that I have decided to add a Seaworld day to our next trip. We haven't...

Oh, The Places We’ll Go! From the “stars” to the “sea”: Universal, SeaWorld & beyond - Spring 2016

I've been following your trip reports, but I think this is my first time posting to it. (I may have once, but I'm getting old and can't remember, lol) We leave in 3 weeks, and my normal crew for the last 5 trips are my 14 y.o. DS and my 30 y.o, DNeice. This may be our last trip together for a...

    Fibromyalgia Thread

Hi I'm Donna and new to this thread too. I was diagnosed about 15 years ago, but I never went back to the doc or got treated. I think I was in denial until this last year when my symptoms and pain got unbearable. I also have osteo arthritis in my hips, back and neck so that doesn't help any. :)...

    Considering staying off site

We've been staying on-site for at least the last 6 trips, but I'm thinking of staying off site on our next trip. We are thinking of doing mostly US and IOA, so would probably stay closer to that area. One thing we would like is a nice pool, since my son LOVES spending most of time swimming. I...
