We're tacking on Aulani in September after being at Disneyland for the Halloween 1/2 marathon weekend. We're East Coast, so we'll fly to Hawaii after the race weekend. Coming back we're gong to fly into Long Beach, spend the night and fly back the next day. I will NOT do a red eye - I'll never...

I ONLY stay at OKW for race weekends - granted I'm superstitious, but we have never had race bus issues from OKW and there have been many horror stories from other resorts.

We were just at Newport Bay a couple of weeks ago and had no issues with the room. Everything was fine and we loved the breakfast!

We just did both this week and loved both. But if I had to choose just one I’d pick Remy’s. It’s so cute and we thought the food was excellent!

Nothing beats BLT in my opinion for size and location. AKV is way too far from everything. And transportation for BLT - monorail to EPCOT and walk to MK, gives it an edge over AKV. I do love BWV, but the rooms are definitely smaller.

Here now and front desk told us no boats because they’re figuring out how to do security for the boats. Sounds like they’ll do screening before you get on at the resort but of course that hasn’t been set up yet.

We just came home today from 4 days at HHI. OMG we had such a great time. We found that there were activities available if you wanted to do them. Spent time at both pools and even ran Shadow’s virtual race. We had never been before but I can tell you we will definitely go back!

We'll be going for our first time the third week of March. For one thing, I can't wait as I NEED a vacation. But now I'm really getting excited after reading about these activities. Does anyone know if the fun run is only on certain days? Thanks all!

I love this flashback report - so great. That Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground- my boys LOVED it back in the day. And they always ended up having accidents because they'd be having so much fun they wouldn't stop to actually go to a bathroom. Now one is going to college.....those were the days:)
