    March 2020 rental car

My Costco rate with Alamo dropped $40 today to $327 for a Standard SUV for March 14-21. Still higher than I'd like but it's the first price drop in about 3 months since I originally made the reservation.

    March 2020 rental car

This is the only March 2020 thread I found. In October, I booked a standard SUV (March 14 - 21) for $367 with Alamo via Costco. I assumed the rate would decrease but I have been checking almost daily and so far I haven't found anything cheaper.

The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

Thanks for the reply. I emailed WBC and they returned the email 3 days later and your DH remembered correctly... the garage heights are 7 feet. This is the same height as the parking garage at Orlando International Airport and I've parked there many times so all is good!!

The we loooooove Bonnet Creek thread Part 3

Does anyone know the maximum height for the parking garage? I have a Ford F350 Super Duty and since we'll be there over Christmas/New Year's, I'm assuming it will be hard to find an outdoor parking spot. Thanks.

    Renting an RV at FW?

I doubt the trailer would smell musty, smokey, or old unless it wasn't taken care of and I think that someone would have mentioned it in the reviews if it had. Since you are so close, I would recommend checking it out first and then you'll know for sure. Staying in the RV will definitely...

OT - Car Accident Settlement (Ontario)

My case happened in 1994 and things have probably changed since then, but here are a few things I can think of. First, I was off work for just about 6 months and my insurance company topped my pay up to 90% of my regular pay as well as covered all medical supplies and private physical...

    Summer Trip No. 2

On different trips to the East Coast, we've crossed the border near Montreal and then stopped in New Hampshire near Gorham. Depending on the age of your children, the following options are nearby... Mount Washington Auto Road, Mount Washington Cog Railway, Santa's Village, Six Gun City & Fort...

Fort Wilderness Cabins - Transportation ??'s too

First off, let me say that I think you've made a great decision to stay at FW with the ages of your children. We've stayed at FW multiple times in both the cabins and campsites. Personally, I think the transportation issue is way overblown (at least in our experiences). We've also stayed at...

Cabins vs the All Star Suites?

Depending on which cabin loop you get, I would guess it could take from 20-30 minutes to walk from your cabin to the marina. Depending on how busy the boat it, you may be asked to fold your stroller but I have seen unfolded strollers on the boat a number of times. The internal FW buses are...

    Nice Campground Near Williamsburg?

We stayed at American Heritage for 5 nights when we visited Williamsburg. I thought it was a very nice campground but I was especially impressed with the comfort station. It looked completely new and modern... and I loved the tile they used. The Trailer Life 2011 directory has it as the...

    Walk from FW to VWL

It certainly is. :goodvibes The path starts across the road from the Tri-Circle-D barn at the Settlement. The path is paved and I would guess about 4-6 feet wide. The walk will take you about 20-25 minutes at a leisurely pace and quite often you can spot deer or other animals along the way...

Summer vacations - other than WDW :)

My vote would be for the White Mountains in New Hampshire (Conway area). We visited here 4 times in 5 years and thought it was great. We never went to Storyland or Santa's Village either as our kids were older, but we all enjoyed many of the other attactrions, along with the scenic drives...

    Official, August 13th !!!

We'll be there from August 1st to the 25th, staying at Fort Wilderness. I'm looking for Jetblue flight options for next January. I see that they offer direct flights during August. Do you know if direct flights are available in January as well? Thanks.

For those at cabins with a crib

It's been about 10 years since we used the pack and play at a cabin, but at that time, we set it up in the bedroom at the end of the bunks. If the pack and plays are stil the same size as back then, it will fit in the bedroom.

    RV detailing?

:thumbsup2 X 2 Last trip we were in a loop with a large number of very nice MHs. Unfortunately, we had to hear the pressure washers just about daily and they were driving through the loop 2 or 3 times a day looking for business. I'm very happy about this decision!!
