We just went through this. Our original flight Austin to Portland now had a connection through Orlando. I think when a flight is canceled a computer just randomly assigns you to different flights without taking anything into consideration. You should call SWA, they are very good about working...

We switched yesterday from CBR to POFQ for mid December. Had a split reservation due to deciding to change our flight and come in late the night before and adding that night and our room category not being available. Now we have one reservation at one of our favorite resorts.

We have done DVC rental in the past but nothing is available.

We have yet to go since Homecomin' has been open with out stopping or getting a to go order.

We have done this and choose AKL and loved it. Quite and peaceful. We use Disney Transportation to Disney Springs and an Uber if we wanted to go to another resort.

It is a slightly higher category. I'm having my TA request a change to our existing category if it becomes available.

Update - We book a room at CBR (different category) for our arrival night. I know we will probably have to change room the next day but we'll be at our resort. Hopefully a room in our category opens and they can add it for the entire stay. We are still holding our reservation at the MCO Hyatt...

We started out with reservations at all-star Movie then upgraded to CBR, so money has been hasn't been that big of a concern but at some point you have to go enough.

Thank you all for your advice. I have already started looking at adding the extra night. They don't have my room type available so might look at another resort and transfer luggage the next morning.

We decided to take a late night flight which gets us in to MCO at 10:00pm instead of an 6:00am flight the next morning which we would have to get up at 3:30am. We are planning on parks the first day. My question is would you just get a room at the Hyatt MCO for around $200 or add an extra night...

DW and I love tasting menus and have a reservation on Nov 15th, can you still get the tasting menus?

Thank you, was hoping it was going to be sooner but it will probably be worth the wait. Maybe a longer visit when we head back.

Trying to plan a future trip and with EPCOT being our favorite park would like to wait till the construction is done. I understand that EPCOT and all other parks will never be done but would like to wait till all the new rides are completed. Done anyone know what the time frame is for completion?
