Resort changing is not limited to WDW. I can only speak for myself, but I've changed both my beach condo and my Universal hotel for summerummm I am a resort changer when we booked Disney trip last year...can I chime in on this thread for non disney trips? Is second guessing accomodations addicting no matter WHERE you go??
Denver trip in 2 weeks I convinced my FIL to switchrolleyes1-going for a college visit/check out a school-)was in a residence inn now in a 3 bedroom house...
Did the same thing for upcoming mom/dtr trip to Washington DC (started in a hotel, currently in a VRBO 2 bedroom condo, and now orginal hotel came with great offer/discount...but haven't switched-yet).

An update, and yet another ticker changes....
So let us recap my summer trip....
Initially booked Poly GV CL with the magical Tikifest rate
Went on my December trip and booked GF SL for August with a bounceback offer
Changed Poly to November for my DS15's school trip
Changed November to BC GV CL
Changed GF SL to Poly GV CL for early August
Changed Poly to AKL CL
Now....we are at BWI SV CL for the summer
I won't even talk about the beach or Universal portion....
I need to leave it, I really do. Location is trumping the animals for us. DH wanted WL or BWI but as much as I love WL I can't with the construction. And I just can't find the love for Poly it's a beautiful resort but we've had such lukewarm CMs there it narrows it down. Why oh why can't DH love the grand??You never cease to amaze me woman!!!
I have to say....not sure that BWI is going to stick....I'll be here...waiting....
Our November visit was the worst customer service we've ever experienced. Even though we had a blast at Sugarloaf in December, he says it was staged LOL. DH is a tough cookie and he's stubborn. Once he gets turned off, it's hard to get him to return....so when I finally got him back to the GF and it was not grand...well you know the rest. The kids had him convinced to return in summer, but he talked them out of it too. It's a gorgeous resort, you will love it there!I'm getting really excited to give the Grand a try!
Is your DH still basing his opinion off of the RPC issue you had a few years back?
There's something about BWI CL. It's hands down hubby's favorite.

This year I think I've confined my changeritis to dining reservations. Since I have to change something, that seems to be the easiest.

So I had a significant room credit from a prior trip applied to our summer trip, and guest services reminded me that the more changes I make to more likely there was to be a glitch with the reservation. Oh yes, I have broken the system before
It's not our fault the system is so fragile...Ha!
That's very cool that you have a room credit waiting.
We can only promise to try to leave our reservations alone. Changing is sometimes a bit of a hobby.
