March 2016 ... anyone else going

I've got my flight booked, my resort booked and now I'm just waiting for my park tickets to arrive from Airmiles. FP+ booking is on Jan 9th. All I need to do now is save up a little more cash in my USD account and we are ready to roll.

I ended up with great airfare on SW. The southbound flight was $99 each and northbound was $119 (I think, it's been a while since I booked). I originally booked the southbound at a higher fare but it came down and I got the credit before booking the northbound flight so I was able to apply the credit. Since then I got a credit on the northbound leg which I used on a last minute trip a few weeks ago.

With the way the weather in FL has been this month I'm getting super excited at the prospect of a very hot week in March!!!!!

Checked my flights yesterday and they had changed with an illegal connection in Atlanta. The nice Delta agent allowed us to leave a day earlier with no change fees, so we now can get to the Miami Heat game before our cruise on the Wonder, my daughter is thrilled.

We are going from March 19th to March 30th. A week at PORS, 3 days at the beach then a night at CBR. We got the early 2016 deal so we're paying $205 a night at PORS and $225 for the night at CBR. I'm a bit concerned now because I just realized we are going to be at the parks the week before Easter and it's also Orlandos spring break!! Has anyone ever gone the week before Easter? How busy was it? Were the lines long? Do they offer any Easter activities?

We are flying from Halifax for the first time in 20 WDW trips. 14-21 March, BCV and BWV. Booked Delta this summer for $1600Cdn for 4 of us. Couldn't resist that price.

We have to change planes at JFK. Never been in that airport. Never changed planes as a family. Hope it's not too bad. We have always booked direct with SWA or JB from NH or RI airports. This should be an adventure. Going to be strange to get in the car and be at the airport in 20mins instead of 12hrs!

To combat the loonicide we only booked one ADR and didn't buy annual passes, bought base ticks with no hoppers. Traveling Monday-Monday to get best airfare and kids will only miss one day of school.

Nice find 14-21 March for $1600Cdn for 4 people. We will overlap by two day!

Ok ... just booked March 7th to March 16th. Anyone else going at that time? I need a discount package for my rooms etc, or else we will look for other options in Florida.
I may be going those exact dates on a just girls trip. Maybe I'll see you in the airport again. :)

We're heading down March 14-21! We've booked offsite - just couldn't make onsite fit in the budget. Monday to Monday timeline saved us several hundred dollars. It's out first trip offsite, but since it's been 10 years since we've been there, I will be happy wherever we stay!

I'm pretty sure that the FL spring break ends the weekend of the 19th. Every time I've been there for March break the locals are off too.....my DD is back to school on the 21st. Good Friday is the 25th, the parks will be packed all week. It's second only to Christmas.

CDN dollar up a bit - just pulled the trigger on the DDP! And now everything is booked...April - 7 nights AKL-KV, Westjet direct and 5 day park tickets through Undercover Tourist. Now to prepare for Fastpass+ this weekend :)

Curious to know how you booked the DDP when you have tickets from UT?

Yep - the guy below you was right. We rented DVC points, bought tickets from UT. Watched the dollar jump back and forth and decided to buy the DDP today while it was back up a bit. You can just do it through the DVC page with a credit card.

Assuming they are paying for it. Poster didn't say "Free Dining". Pretty sure that you don't need park tickets if you are willing to pay for DDP.
You were right on the money. You don't need park tickets at all to buy the DDP, you could technically just dine outside the parks the whole time. Also helpful to note that you don't need to buy the DDP or park tickets to make dining reservations. We made our reservations a long time ago but waited to pay for the DDP.

I just added an extra day to the end of our trip. Now it will be 9 full days in the sun :beach: Thank you SW for dropping the fare!

We are pop vets .... I think it is one of the best values in Disney. If I didn't rent dvc points, we would be there.
