Oh my gosh! And it always hit at the holiday time, I am so sorryI hope so since it looks like we're replacing our furnace and AC at home.
I know why is it always around the holidays. I guess we can't complain too much our existing system is 22 years old.Oh my gosh! And it always hit at the holiday time, I am so sorry
We'll have to see if he makes an appearance on my "sharing" thread or the house thread first.
I'm still coughing some.
I'm home this afternoon so my furnace can be repaired.
Good luck with the kitchen. I haven't given Thanksgiving much thought yet, I guess I better start.
I'm afraid to hear what it's going to be. Also my check engine light came on so my car is in the shop too.
I hope so since it looks like we're replacing our furnace and AC at home.
What was wrong with the car? Know how you feel we had to put an engine in the one vehicleI'm so done with car repairs, it's another $600 today. I'm pretty sure the mechanic at the first place I took it too caused the damage when they did a maintenance procedure, but I have no way of proving it and they'll never admit it. Between the car and replacing the furnace and air conditioner at home I want to scream.
On the good news side, they'll put the new furnace and air conditioner in next Tues. so it will be done before the holiday.
I will give you a hint about the gas pump, The big black boot on the gas pump may have been vapor locked and the pump will shut off. Nothing to do with the car. If you go get gas and it happens again pull the black nozzle back and keep pumping. I dealt with that issue working with gas pumps. I would also be getting a second opinion on some things. Just so you know before putting money into things.Last month it went in for a dead battery and they wanted to clean the fuel system as a maintenance item, keep in mind it only has 45K miles on it. When I went to put gas into the car the pump kept clicking off like it was full every few seconds, so we took it back and they claim it was a coincidence the valve that regulates the pressure went bad, so they replaced it last Friday. Tuesday my check engine light comes on and now the canister/sensor the new valve went into is bad. Between last week and this week it will be $875 on something that was perfectly fine before anyone touched it.

I'll check it out. I have it at a different place this time. That sucks. I hate spending money like that. Did you check the BBB on this place? See if anyone else has had similar problems?
....right?I can only dream!!!
