After watching the new spectaculars for the Disneyland 60th I'm almost speechless. WDW really needs some new shows with this technology. I have never been to Disneyland and really hope to go sometime in the near future to see these new shows they are visually stunning.

I was at DLR once 5 years ago. I thought I would get to see World of Color but they delayed the opening. However, I liked DL's fireworks much better than Wishes.

Having only been to WDW my entire life and a huge fan of Walt I've been dreaming of going to Disneyland for some time. I've been trying to convince my parents for a 2016 trip.

The new projection technology is amazing and should be something WDW gets in the future.

I agree. By projecting on Main Street, Matterhorn, It's a Small World and other areas, they've finally managed to spread the crowds more evenly throughout the entire park instead of concentrating thousands of guests in the hub. That would be quite useful at MK. Plus, the additional projections and effects make it pretty inmersive.

This may sound like a stupid question, but are these new shows here to stay, or is this only for a year until Disneyland turns 61?

Also, is that Owl City singing in the parade? It sounds exactly like them...

It made me roll my eyes that all the Disney Princesses got one float together, and Elsa and Anna got their own... :rolleyes2

Paint the Night and Disneyland Forever are staying for a while. If you ask me, I think World of Color Celebrate is the only temporary show. They'll probably go back to the regular show with new segments next year.

As for the princesses... Well, originally Belle and Ariel had their own floats, so the other princesses weren't even there. Personally I don't mind the Frozen float. It's quite beautiful, actually.

Was it posted already that the Disney Parks Blog claims that the castle turrets are complete and yet people are reporting they are still under wraps? I believe the blogger said they debuted yesterday.

Good grief.

What they debuted was the concept art for it. It's very confusing. They are still under wraps so they aren't unveiled. DPB must think their readers have no insight to what's going on.

Yeah, she actually says "The turrets debuted at the park today" (yesterday).
