We've got Deluxe APs but we're out of DVC points! A year of Disneyland trips- updated 6/27!

The kids rode Space while we enjoyed the Tiki Room.

The plan was to meet back up at BTMRR by 9 for the 9:25 fireworks.

Perfect timing. By the time we got near the front of the line, they has just started. And ended. :lmao: I didn't realize the fireworks lasted a whole 5 minutes max.

We watched a few minutes while in line with an amazing view and rode during the last two minutes.

If you haven't seen the fireworks while riding BTMRR you have to give it a try!

I took no less than 100 photos with my phone so here are just a few:

After BTMRR we decided we were pretty beat. It had been a long and wonderful day for everyone.

My babies in front of the castle as we headed out:

We got back to the hotel about 11 pm and the plan was to be to the car by 7 am which meant the kids had to be up no later than 6:30 for the last to shower. I, of course, would be up at 5:45 so I could grab that delicious hot breakfast before we left and bring it up to my over indulged albeit very grateful crew.

We were lights out right before midnight. Zzzzzz......

To be continued.....

I'm loving all your pics, looks like everyone was having a great time.

You two ladies will be styling for the party weekend.

Thanks Angela! We always have such a good time at Disney. I just love that the kids can be kids. Heck, the adults can be kids too. :cloud9:

::yes:: We arrive Thursday and leave Sunday. Can't wait! :woohoo:

The fireworks over BTMRR look great! I couldn't deal with not getting my own breakfast. I want my eggs fresh as I take them from the cook, I don't think I could eat them if someone brought them up to me. I need to eat them as soon as they are cooked. I'm weird like that.

One week until I see you!!!!!!

Alison, you're so funny! They didn't offer eggs cooked any way. They made fresh omelettes but the rest like French toast, pancakes, bacon etc..was prepared in back, brought up, and served buffet style. My crew was over the moon having it delivered; even Michael who kept saying it wasn't necessary but didn't go down with me. :lmao: . I placed plates on top of every plate to cover so the warm stayed warm. ;) LOL! I think when you're a teenager breakfast delivered is pretty nifty.

One week girlfriend! :woohoo: I checked the weather again and its looking like low 80's and mid to high 70's. Perfect!

I'm glad we didn't wait the normal 2+ hours for a hub fireworks spot for a 5 minute show.

The omelets are what I mean. Also you can ask them to make you eggs over easy at the omelet station. The one we stayed at in Ft Lauderdale didn't have french toast or pancakes, the hit stuff was powdered eggs, bacon and potatoes. That stuff wouldn't bother me, but I still prefer to get my own. Your kids aren't as fussy as me!

Your pictures of BTMRR with "Fantasy in the Sky" fireworks in the background are very nice. I will have to try that one day but I do like staking out a spot for the fireworks at MS or IASW Plaza area.

It won't be to long until you are back in SoCal for the birthday bash and hope you all have a great time.

Whenever I seen Disney fireworks, it felt a lot longer.

I am glad that you still got to see them. Your photos are stunning. This is definitely going on my to do list for September.

The castle looks so pretty all dressed up for the Diamond Anniversary.

The eggs on the buffet were powdered I think. I hate those. :crazy2: But the rest was really good. Huge selsection of fruits and pastries too; oatmeal with toppings and cereal too.

I like stalking a place too. :goodvibes

I think the castle looked gorgous and it's even more dolled up now!

Thank you. I can't work a camera for anything but I am not bad on the iphhone camera. :upsidedow

The fireworks are usually 3x that long. They are showing a shorter show currently.

It's our very favorite. I also like in front of IASW too.

Hopefully we can catch up this weekend!

So good news here: Chloe passed her driver's exam and she gets her license today. :woohoo:

We headed to the airport to grab Gabby. Love this tunnel in Long Beach. It just screams home to me. Cypress and Long Beach in the same day; talk about blast from the past. I was born is LB, raised in Cypress, and went back to LB during my college days. :lovestruc

Gabby's flight was 20 minutes early so I am glad we left earlier than planned. All my babies together:

We pulled into the asking structure, showed our cute certificate and parked in our front row spot! I was a little surprised it wasn't taken to be honest. But there it sat, empty.

Family tram selfie:

We're in! Notice Chloe's cute Baymax tank top.

I obviously got behind this week!

Love these family pics. They are all so adorable. Your kids are too cute. Yay - Gabby has arrive! :cheer2:

Love the nighttime pics as well. Your phone did a great job. What an awesome day. I also love your dinners. That food looks delish!

I never rode IASW at DL

I've been slowly figuring out logistics. I have a few things to share.

AWESOME!!!! CONGRATULATIONS CHLOE!!!!!!! party: party: party:

We have to change that this Fall! IASW is 100x better at Disneyland than MK. pixiedust:

How does tomorrow sound, are you working this weekend?

She's soon happy. :goodvibes Joshua says he's on easy street with access to 4 drivers. :lmao:

It was so nice having all of us there. :lovestruc I know those times will be decreasing soon enough.

:thanks: Dinner was so good. Their shells can't be beat.

I was happy with the quality of the pics. The 6 takes such a better pic than the 5.

We headed over to the park at 7 am as planned. It was sort of cloudy but still not cold. DCA was set to open at 8 am. DL had the EMH/MM.

The lines to get in were much longer than the line to get into DL the day before.

Grey skies:

Our plan was to head to TSMM and get on a ride or two, then Screamin' and then grab FPs for RSR. I have leaned away from getting RSR first thing because we prefer a later return time and enough time to grab another for dusk/dark. Soarin' was down which was a bummer.

Of course we had some targets to shoot so no stopping for my buddy Oswald:

We got to TSMM and guess what? It was down. :sad1: It remained down for an hour and then some.

We went on Screamin'. Twice.

My crew opted for a third time virtually walking on but I sat off.

Michael and Gabby wanted coffee so they headed to grab RSR FPs and coffee while Chloe and Joshua rode the carousel. :teeth: I may have nudged a little.

TSMM still hadn't opened up and we'd pretty much exhausted what we enjoy at Paradise Pier. Mickey's Screaming Wheel of Death isn't a must so we met up with Gab and Michael at the end of the pier and then split up. See, Joshua doesn' love DCA. he likes it but doesn't love it.

To be continued......

Chloe's shirt is so cute.

California Screaming looks like such a great ride.

Is Mickey's wheel of death really THAT terrifying?

Oh - to see Oswald in the park must be SO cool!
