I would very much like to use the $30 Visa coupon for an Alamo reservation in April. I do not have a Visa credit card (nor do I want to get another credit card) but do have a Visa debit card. Can I use that to satisfy the Visa coupon?

I just got a semi-decent car rental, not great. I have been going every year for the past 9 years, same week and I never pay over $200, this year if I find under $300, I am thrilled. Right now I have a mini-van 4/25-5/3 for $257. Alamo using Costco 7014627, and $30 coupon AD2338fdf

I am beginning to stalk this. Looking to get a rental for a trip I'm taking to VA. My dates will be 4-22 thru 4-28. I put in a prelimanry run through dollar, and got a SUV for the same price as a car... But it's still higher than I want.

No real movement for me. $258 for 9 days for a mini van is as good as I think it might get.

Holy Moly!!! I've been "stalking" rates for a Mini van for april 10-20....Just checked Hertz (Hertz and Enterprise are the only ones relatively close to me) and the price has went UP almost 300 dollars!!! I hope this changes soon! I'm beginning to think i might just be better off to fly!

I started looking a week ago for a rental for April 29th - May 6th and had a rate of $335 for a Mid Size SUV(Cheapest car class for my dates).

It has been dropping a couple dollars a day until today, when I checked it has dropped to $188, taxes in.

I'm pretty happy with that but will still keep checking. I used the Costco Code and $30off coupon for Alamo.

If you use a visa debit card beware they will put a hold on your acct when you make the reservation. SO make sure you have enough cash in the acct.

Check your Alamo rates again. I was holding a full size car for $230 for 9 days, pick up in Tampa return in Orlando .This morning I now have the option of a mini van for $240....or a Rav 4 for $199. Can't decide between the 3 cars now. We don't need a van it's just the 4 of us. Will a Rav4 hold more then 3 suitcases. That's what it's listed for but I feel like it should hold more if you stack????

The Rav4 has a large cargo space for a small SUV - it will easily hold three suitcases.

I am totally shocked to see SUV's cheaper than cars at this point. I am locked in with 3 different rentals for an SUV for only $200 OOP...I am hoping that it drops more

We are going the first week of April which is of course the worse week in April to get a good deal because of Easter. I have an 8 day full size from
Enterprise for $266. I've been checking to see if it will go down and it jumped today to $623. I assume this means they are running out of cars? I've been checking Hertz and a similar thing happened a few weeks ago- they are over $500 now. Does this mean the rates will not decrease again as we get closer? I know others have said the rates go down one to two weeks before, but I am wondering if there is still a chance of that after such a large jump in prices. Any insight from experience renters appreciated

I booked an standard size SUV with Thifty for 13 days for $340 all in a couple days ago with no code. I check Thrifty several times a day. Prices vary just about every time I look. I click on the yellow city special for the lowest prices.

Hey everybody! Go check your Alamo and National rates for Easter week. Mine went down by over $85 without coupons only Southwest contract ID!

Arrive 4/5 TPA and Depart 4/12 MCO all in on Emerald Aisle for $136.11!!!! Woohoo! It's about time!

That National deal is amazing from TPA to MCO. It doesn't help my MCO reservation, but if I was doing that, it would be $136 all-in from TPA to MCO for a week picking up Easter Sunday. WOW!
