Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

This literally made me laugh out loud!! 🤣🤣

@2vets thanks so much for your detailed report and wonderful pictures! We had a short but terrific stay in tower club a few months back and are heading there again this fall...hearing about your stay has me even more excited..nothing like an uncrowded lounge..and helpful cms..totally impressed at your rope drop accomplishments wow...you sure got to do alot..what a great tip for a party day...sorry to hear that your party night was so crowded tho...that seems to be more the norm ...
The floor filled up by Fri night/Sat morning, and it still seems like a relative haven. I am at WDW solo for a Jollywood/MVMCP party stay before meeting my sister/niece for a MVMCP weekend (so 3 parties for me total). I have a discounted stay at BWI Innkeepers (deluxe) for the first 2 days and move to a Tower Club suite with the family on Friday, but it’s bound to be busy then, and reports of crowding and lines af Innkeepers make me wonder if it’s worth changing for some (relative) peace since I have to commute to one party anyways. I spotted and booked a standard room/2 Q room at tower, undiscounted, and might spring for it. That will have me in Tower all 4 nights. Maybe it’s silly, but I feel less like a weirdo being solo up there (and at RPC) than anywhere else I’ve tried. YC is a never-again solo for me after last week, just lots of people giving me the side eye or darting in front of me. I know it’s paranoia to a degree, but not all of it. Lots more adults at Tower every time I’ve been.

Sorry you had that experience at YC. I definitely would never think any of seeing someone traveling solo or at CL themselves.
Maybe a discount will pop up that will keep you in tower for your entire stay. I bet the Christmas party is fun.

If I was solo, I would go to YC CL. People give me the side-eye and have darted in front of me whether I am alone or with my spouse at YC all the time. I probably look at them also with an inquisitive look!

I also was sorry to hear about the PP's negative experience. Feeling unwelcome would certainly be uncomfortable.
I'm on my own in the YC CL lounge fairly frequently during our vacations. The CM's are kind and helpful, the other guests seem pleasant.
I do try to avoid very busy times. I would rather wait until the rush subsides.

Just addressing this and the other comments - I have no beef with YC CL at all!! When I go with DH, this is where we always stay. The food’s great, the CMs are awesome, rooms are lovely, location ideal. It was oddly crowded the last 2 visits - this last one was possibly evacuees? - and that’s fine. I would never give a negative review of it, and that wasn’t my intention. But the calm and peace of Tower is just more me. That says more about ME and the escape I personally have needed my last few visits than anything else!

Interesting observation. Was it the staff or other guests you noted acting this way? We have stayed at YC CL for over 20 years, usually just my husband & my self. There have been plenty of times I went to the lounge alone & never noticed anyone giving me the side eye or treating me differently.

But I know every resort isn’t for everyone. BWI gets so many positive reviews & I really wanted to love it. But our 2 experiences haven’t been great so I guess that 1 just isn’t for us. But I agree with you about how amazing the Tower Club is. Our first stay there was in 2015, the food wasn’t impressive & I didn’t like it very much. We tried it again & have stayed in both king rooms since reopening. The food offerings have drastically improved. It’s tied with YC as our favorite now.

It was a few families. Absolutely NOT staff. This happened last time I was at YC with DH, as well, when he was sick and stayed in the room. I’ve only noticed it when solo (not when in the lounge with DH), just parents giving me the eye when they had kids trying to get to food even if others were there, even though in most cases, I saw what was happening and backed off to let them in. Maybe paranoia to an extent, but this has now been my impression twice. Again, it is not a criticism of YC!! Just not the club for me when solo.

The diced fruit was ridiculous!!!!
The weekend def picked up, and the party was fairly unpleasant, crowd-wise. But otherwise, it was very quiet!! I bought G+ most days, and there were a few times where it was truly unnecessary. Also - for the love of all that’s holy - everyone should rope drop EE at MK on party days - I rolled outta bed and ran to arrive at 7:25 for 7:30 resort guest opening and did the following by 10 am: dwarves, pan, jungle cruise, BTMRRx2, HM, pooh, space, buzz, pirates. The only one that was not a literal walk-on was pirates - I had to wait for the next boat.
Yep me and dd can have cl wine all night but up and at em lol!
Good to here it’s quiet isH!

We agree ! Dd and I think Tower is #1 then RPC then a suite Tonga if facing the marina.

It’s just so quiet and welcoming in Tower. The cms are the top notch best there too.

Probably a silly question but I've never been. If I go to jellyrolls and the other bats on the boardwalk, do I need cash/credit card or can I use a magic band for payment? Thanks!

Which would you choose a standard view tower club room at CR or a CR Atruim club TPV. We don’t eat sushi, so that’s not a consideration. The tower club is about $20-30 cheaper. Can someone repost pics of the room. I like facing the magic kingdom, but those big balconies…. Also I know a bunch of people have mentioned the Atruim being a little crowded and difficult to find a table.

Check touring plans room finder - with the tower club there are 3 Queen standard view (not the king tower rooms) rooms. 2 face the MK - one is HA - and one faces Bay Lake.

I dislike the uncertainty of the view. I would gladly pay more for the TPV, but I think I would be disappointed to not get that view in what is essentially a coin flip.

So for me, I would have to weigh a potential lake view against my preferred tower club lounge.

Not sure how much that is a factor for you, but if it’s not, then I would definitely go with the tower club.

Thanks for the info. I’d definitely prefer the theme park view, but I’m not sure how disappointed I’d be if I wound up with lake view. The only thing I really wouldn’t want is the handicap accessible room. I guess there is a risk of getting that too though.

GF CL lover who has been absent from the boards for awhile, excited to be back 💕!
We had another great RPC stay spring 2022 and have yet another booked for spring 2024 (skipped this year with refurb).
Thinking of a shorter trip this fall/ winter as spring is just too far away!
We have never done the Christmas party and would do that for sure.
Would love fellow CL- lover input on the following options, TIA so much!!!!!!!
1. CR TPV (no CL avail. our dates 😭)- better for party, better transportation, TPV!, though noisier and no CL, cabanas if warm enough (we always reserve them)
2. WL Del CL (know this room type is divisive but would work for us)- beautiful for holiday, CL!, not as good of transportation, no cabanas if ends up being pool weather

DD loves CR tpv cl or non. However if you are at the party it is not as important. I have done parties with and without cl. I prefer cl for party nights but not always available. There are so many places to eat and drink you can find a CL like experience somewhere....

True walking to MK is a huge perk and having that view all day one could say its the better option. However I find there is no 1 best option lol. I can always find a benefit to stay elsewhere.

The WL deluxe room extra seating is nice to have with its wet bar. Less mess in the sleeping area!

CL at WL at Christmas is just such a nice experience. I loved sitting by the railing watching the tree. Transportation isn't too bad. The bus is super quick and the boat is relaxing.

I generally don't use the pool much so not helpful there. However there are 2 pools at WL so maybe one less crowded.

Good to see you back!

@trishadono THANK YOU, good to be back :lovestruc! I appreciate your expert advice as always:) and we have never stayed at either of these two resorts.

We will do five days for this shorter trip, so party night proximity is a plus but not a must-have. If we choose CR I will still watch to see if CL pops up, but is CR super loud? Love Disney sounds and hustle and bustle but not sure about monorail commotion and Chef Mickey’s chaos???

Either way we are at Disney so it’s a win, just want to make the right choice for us! :cloud9:
