Still waiting on 10/4 submission 😤
You might call your broker and see when they sent it over/if they have heard back, and maybe the title company and see if they have heard anything. Depending on who you are using, sometimes the communication isn’t the best based on what I’ve seen people post. I didn’t get anything directly from Disney.

Looking at all these recent SSR passes, I’m def feeling like I over-offered, lol! But will be happy nonetheless if we get a pass through as well.
You really just never know. It was not that long ago that SSR was getting taken at $120-$125 and then today we're seeing passes at $107! It's all about the timing. In reality, if you take the cost over the life of your contract it really won't be that material.

Same! But I did make an offer that I felt was playing it safe, so it is what it is. It went through and that was my goal. But if I had waited one more month my offer would have been at least7 dollars per point less.

It really is all about timing. I think a good bet is to be patient, and wait 3-4 months after the ROFR lady starts gobbling up a certain resort?

I sold my SSR contracts for $126pp in early June and both were taken by Disney. And some of the ROFR prices were in the mid $130s/pp

I was thinking they were into the $130's but thought I might have been confusing that the OKW. We were considering putting in a bid at $135 at one point if our BWV contract was taken. That was another one where the going ROFR was close to $150 and then just dropped off out of nowhere.

They absolutely were taking contracts a few months back in the $130s but also fewer people started buying SSR at that price for fear of ROFR and competitive value. Contracts started sitting longer, inventories began to build and prices dropped to what we are seeing now. I had a contract listed for awhile but ultimately decided to take it off since I needed the 2022 points anyway.

I'm thinking about stripping the 2023 and 2024 points off the contract (to another membership) and selling at a low price. I know I can have MS move the 2023 points but will they move the 2024 points so I can borrow them into the 2023 UY?

Transferred points can’t be borrowed. And ,you can’t transfer 2024 points until you enter your 2023 UY.

I wonder if I am working on a reservation and ask really nicely if they will let me borrow then transfer

Nope. They will not transfer the points if already borrowed. I tried that not too long ago.

They will allow more than one transfer for the same owners and even have let banked points be transferred within the same owner.

They are pretty strict and consistent with the borrowed points. I am going to lose 2 points in my June UY because they would transfer the 20 borrowed points I had and the room I booked was 18.

anyone dealt with fidelity? are they bad at replying? waited nearly 48 hours on a reply to an important question so we can sign contracts 😡

I haven't but I see a nice $80 OKW 230 Point Sep UY contract over there. Anyone fancy seeing how low they will go?

I think it all depends on your agent. We used Fidelity and everything went seamless. Phone calls were answered and email responses less than 24 hrs every time. Deed recorded, just waiting on Disney now. I would use them again.

half the problem is, we live in the UK so can only email as the calls would be extortionate 😪
