Currently trapped on a broken down bus to MK

YEP. The busiest day at MK. Trying to hit EMH and th bus breaks down just outside of Pop Century. We are going to miss the entire hour of extra magic time plus who know how much time to get us new buses (we are on a packed double bus).

It stalled as the bus was being loaded at the resort. She got it restarted and pulled away and it stalled again. We got out beyond the security gate and it stalled again and she gave up and called for help.

I am sorry but I dont understand this line of thinking. Things go wrong and you dont always have to be compensated for it. Are you upset with the bus breaking down....yes but to think you now deserve something is a line of thinking that i just dont understand.

We made it to MK. We scrambled and got on the first bus that showed up but we left behind a lot of people and 2 families with wheelchairs. We were able to do one ride and now EMH is over. Pretty bummed.

They paid a premium to stay onsite and take advantage of EMH. Due to Disney's transit failure, they were unable to use the benefit of the EMH. I agree, they should get some anytime FPs for their whole party.

Chances are no one will have to ask. Several times I’ve been in line for a bus and don’t get on it because it’s full and many of those times if a cm has been present they walk down the line of “leftovers” scanning bands and adding FP. It may not be every time but it’s happened to us multiple times at BWVand AKL. When something like that happens people do miss FP and if you ask nicely a cm may just add one on. I don’t think it hurts to ask nicely, especially if you’ve missed one due to a situation beyond your control.

Politely go to MK guest relations and ask "what options do we have since we missed most of a.m. emh due to the broken down bus?". You have a chance of scoring some fast passes.

We were surprised, too. But like I said it happened on two separate trips, more than once each trip. So it does happen lol.

Sorry that happended. Sucks even more being an EMH day ! Agree with others, go to guest services, explain what happanded and ask for some anytime fastpasses.

That was my first thought also, but then I put myself in their shoes. My trip planned out. Chose my EMH day, maybe my only one? A big part is getting rides done before crowds, so I plan my day around getting those rides done.
Get up early, get on my bus provided by Disney transportation. Bus breaks down and I miss my EMH. Yep, I would be disappointed and annoyed.
While I wouldn't take it out on anyone or demand anything, I don't see anything wrong in this case by politely asking Guest Services for an extra fast pass to take the sting out of missing my EMH.

I remember the first time they the Villians party in 2013, they were unprepared for the crowds that came, the roads were horrible I had a friend who was stuck on a Disney bus from CBR for over hours and my husband and I were stuck on a friendship boat trying to get from the BW to HS and we were on that hot boat for over an hour.. It was a nightmare...

Nothing..lol which they would have had to give a ton of fast passes bc there were so many ppl stuck, there were lines to get into the stores in HS that were ridiculous...
