Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

*Pools have lifeguards until 10pm, but are open until midnight!

Where did you get that information? We just got back last Thursday and no, pools close at 10pm. One night, I was standing on the balcony and the lifeguard was shutting down. He was yelling at people to get out of the pool becuase it was closed. I saw him leave and he came back about 5 min later because they were back in the pool. He said they all needed to 'get out of the pool area' and wouldn't leave until everyone left with him.

Yep, pools close at 10pm. They ask everyone to leave and then they lock the gates.
I think in the height of the summer they stay open until 11pm but after that the gates get locked.

I'm sorry. Pop's got a lot of good memories on it's property and I'm glad that you guys got to have some there.

I'm sure you have some very special memories that you will treasure for a lifetime, the resort has such a good feel and nostalgic for adults. My husband and I stayed at Pop in January, and liked it so much we just booked it for a February visit with extended family.

Is there anything I can do to increase the chances of getting a King room beyond making the room request? Any certain category that has more available?

I will definitely check on the mugs and advise if any refurbs are evident. Anything else?

Rumors I've read have the room refurbs happening from November 2016 - February/March 2018.
