Worst WDW Food Experience

H&V for dinner years ago it was so dirty and the food was nasty, never went back there again. We also only ate at Ohana once and my carnivore hubby told me to never book it again because he thought the meats were overcooked and gristly. We also sat way in the back so we had zero ambiance and my DD couldn't see the kids activities that were going on.

CRT - This was years ago - the food and the service was awful.
The only thing I specifically recall is my dad had a very unappealing meal that was tasteless and had a glowing purple sauce on it.
All we remember is just how awful it looked.

Ohana - this was just after the DDP and that changed a lot of the food (small shell on shrimp instead of skewers of shrimp) and were very slow to bring food as well. The meat was overcooked and the waitstaff were just disinterested. We have not gone back and see no reason too

Alfredo's - again with the DDP - this place went down hill. We had eaten here many times and this time around food was not as good as it had been. Service was not as good as it had been (tip was included in the DDP) - for example my wife asked for grated Parmesan and was told here meal had the correct amount of cheese on it and she did not need any more - she told him she had already tasted it and it needed more - he told here she was wrong.

I've told this multiple times but getting food poisoning from a country in Epcot is a vacation I will never forget :crazy2:

I had the opposite experiences. Le Cellier and Chefs were both very good both times at each with good service and food quality.
I have a dining reservation for Le Cellier in a few weeks and am really looking forward to it. I have read various reviews and there are many people that did not enjoy it due to crowded tables, poor service, and food quality. But I have also read a lot of reviews where people thought it was fantastic and worth the price. It's difficult to know what to expect with so many different reviews. I am therefore going in with medium expectations, and hope I come out of there pleased with both the food and service.

Went to Chef Mickeys in 2005 for my son's 8th birthday and had an amazing server and my son had fun, but the food was disgusting. My whole family had stomach distress after a visit to the bakery place in France in Epcot...cant think of the name, but the place with the stuck-up, rude servers and the baked goods. Thinking that in addition to their rudeness, they also dont wash their hands there.

I have to say the worst food is at HS. All the QS locations are bad. I stick to 50's Prime time and Sci-fi for lunch and dinner.
My worst meal was at Brown Derby. The food was really bad and overpriced. We were a big party and all our meals were bad. Too bad because the drinks and atmosphere were nice.

sci fi dine in....will never understand how people find that remotely entertaining....I want to run screaming just walking by the place

We've had almost all amazing dinners in WDW, but there were a few over the years that have made us NEVER return:

1. Le Chefs de France - Flavorless scallops, squishy/spongy filet (it was like a Nerf ball), half frozen cream puffs... awful.
2. The Wave - No flavor! I mean, NO flavor. Clueless servers, too.
3. Artist Point - Again, totally flavorless scallops. I mean, I love scallops, but they need a sprinkle of salt at least! Absolutely the worst service we've ever had. Our server wouldn't show up for long stretches of time, so we had to flag down anyone we could find. We were shoved into a small table at the far end of the room, along windows that overlooked a bunch of folded chairs, behind a large wooden post... right near a kitchen door... in a mainly empty dining room.

We never had anything AWFUL. A couple that were disappointing, after reading up before hand...
Sci Fi, and actually Prime Time too. Both were, you know, OK, but no where near what I was hoping.
And Pecos Bills in 2011. I don't know, it just wasn't... So many people said it was like, the best ever, and it was, just OK.

Cape May dinner buffet was a massive letdown. The crab legs were cold, small and had very little meat in them and the rest of the food was largely poor. Won't go back. Also won't go back to Cosmic Ray's because last time we visited it was really, really dirty.

Jiko -I know people love this one but I hated it. Ive been twice thinking the first time was a fluke. Nope. Must be the spices they use or something. Hated the flavors.
Le Cellier for worst let down. We waited 2 trips to finally get a reservation there so the multi-year build up sort of set that one up to fail. It was just okay.

I had the opposite experience at Jiko...I wanted to hate it, because the higher end places usually never live up to the price...but I was pleasantly surprised I have to say...our group was big, so the dinner ran close to 3 hours

Anyone not answering this question with Tony's Town Square has simply never eaten there.
It is pretty below average no doubt. - I don't know if it is the worst, but it is probably in most peoples top 5 I'm sure.

Not the worst, but their spaghetti was hugely overcooked, and the rest was just ok. Any place serving Italian food, the least they can do is to serve their pasta al dente.

Be Our Guest! I managed to snag a dinner reservation just before a special visit last year...my best friend had flown in (I hadn't seen her in a year) for my birthday while my husband was deployed, and I was taking her on her first Disney trip! We were really looking forward to it, since it's our favorite movie. We ended up dealing with the rudest CM I've ever experienced, and the food was not very good to boot. I haven't returned.

I also used to LOVE Sci-Fi, and now I just find the food to be...well, gross. Haha.
