Disney Gift Card Deals

Thanks, Got $15 back. Does this link to PayPal?? I tried to use on our other eBay account and the offer wasn't available/valid. both accounts use the same PayPal.

I think so. I was able to use on same eBay acct but had to use different PayPal to get second to go through. Tried to go into our other eBay acct to do it and wouldn't work at all with our paypals that had already been used.
so who wants to bet, now that Target stopped the Online RedCard loophole they will start
selling Target Gift Cards on GCM again :sad2:
I thought the same thing! But honestly I'd love it still. Gives me a third channel to churn through albeit in store, and the shipping is cheaper so won't eat up all my ebates.

I thought that initially, but I believe the aim is to stop churning entirely, so I don't see it happening.

New plan - save churning $$$ in hopes the deals from last holiday season (10% off Target GC and $5 Target GC WYB 2-Disney GCs) make a return this year, and that by then we will still be allowed to buy GC-with GC in-store. In the meantime, looks like 4x fuel points for GCs

Yeah,

You'll get a higher profit margin if you have the gamers club unlocked on your account. It's $30 for 2 years and gets you an additional 20% off any new game. It stacks with the "deal of the day" promotions they run and any sale except on black friday.

If you occasionally buy video games for yourself or your children, you will save A LOT with it.

There's a 50% extra trade in credit coming up this weekend for used video games. There might be some chances to flip games from GS to BB with profit and get a BB GC.

Can I beg you to post it if you find anything good this weekend? I'm still learning how to find these.

Thanks!
I used it a couple times on same eBay account but paying out with 2 diff paypals. Got the shower gift I've had saved for my friend. And 2 $50 Best Buy gc at 30% off as I applied each $15 discount to my gc in my funds accounting.

Question - PayPal and eBay was acting really crappy on my phone and I double purchased a bonnet (not in the $15 discount category) as an add on to make $75 on the second order. My $15 coupon actually came off another item. I requested the seller cancel the second bonnet - will eBay cancel out my $15 discount?

I have no idea, I have never canceled an item. As long as you have at least one filler, I don't see why they would cancel the $15.

This was what I was thinking with any "extra" funds I have come in (Paypal earnings, gifts, etc) which was why I had asked. Anything we churn now would be for our next trip which we weren't planning for until 2018. I figure for now any extra income that I'd put towards churning I'll just hold onto for now. If Target decides not to do the gift card offers this year or (forbid) stop allowing gc with gc in store I wouldn't be out anything and would have a good cushion for other churning areas.

@JKalai, if you can't post deals, can you post your process for looking for them? When you get a chance? We don't have any game systems, so this is really like visiting a foreign country with a different alphabet for me.

Unfortunately for me, the nearest Target is an hour away, and I am booked solid this weekend, so it will probably be next Friday before I can get to a Target. Of course, by then, the GC to GC might be shut down in brick and mortars. I'm torn on whether to make a late night run or cross my fingers and wait.

Wow, for me I think thus would be great, at this point, cause we could still get some ebucks!
So, hopeful here, but I suppose its not likely, but we'll see. That would still bring in more sales back to target that were lost when they stopped selling them on eBay. I imagine with this new stand of theirs they had to lose sales. My target purchases have really dropped to a small amount only in store, I would think many others may have as well.

So, we all need to put our heads together and come up with a new way to churn. :-)

I need to "find" $1000 by October so that we can upgrade to AP's. I'm on a basically fixed income, so "earning" these gift cards are my only vacation funds. :-(

:scratchin:scratchin:scratchin If anyone can come up with something, it's the people here.
Lori, I have been using m+ to get points, trying to do swagbucks, and now when I shop, I try to buy things I need at Target, and do the deals that get the free gift cards. All of these methods are slower, and may not add up to $1000, but if you combine them with whatever is working in your neighborhood, you might get there. Honestly, that's where I am. I can't do Sears/Kmart, but Walgreens is working near me.

I have been following a site called Living Rich with Coupons, and they post ways to combine savings from coupons, apps and instore loss leaders. For instance, if you get $30 worth of school supplies from Target, they will give you a $5 gift card. Those free gift cards add up, and I am going to use several this weekend to get a $50 gift card. I would have preferred to use them online and get that same card for only $47.50, but since I have been getting these cards for essentially moving my food shopping to a different store, this is essentially free to me.

hey yall,

Just found this on slick deals. Maybe we can trade them in at Game stop or best buy and make a profit? not sure how that process works.

Playstation Store is having their Flash Sale for select PS4, PS3 and PS Vita Games from $0.79. Thanks Glamham
It's riskier than the previous deals, because you are taking a chance that when these games arrive in the mail that the other stores will still be interested in them, but if postage isn't too high, these prices are not a huge investment.

The cashier at our local target store would not let me purchase the Disney gift cards with my Target gift cards today. He scanned all of the Disney cards and when I handed him my target gift cards to pay, he said I couldn't use them and kept insisting it couldn't be done. He called the manager over when I wouldn't drop it. She also said I couldn't pay with them. She scanned my target gift card just to prove me wrong, but when it applied to the purchase she looked shocked and let me finish paying with the target cards I had.
So point of this story is to be persistent about it. I don't churn and was taking it very slow ordering online so I wouldn't get banned. I still had close to $1000 in physical target cards from their Christmas-time promotion, so I am very glad they have not changed the in-store policy yet.

@DisneyMomLJ

I'll try! I know there is a sale this weekend on video games at Best Buy. Since it's been so busy at work, I haven't had the time to check sales and trade in values.

If it's from the Playstation Store, it's a digital purchase so you wouldn't be able to trade it in.

Good for you! I had a manager at one of our local Targets angrily inform me I couldn't purchase any gift cards with Target gift cards during last year's Christmas promo. (We bought tons of gift cards that day, he even did his darndest to stop us from buying the gift cards on the promo but couldn't find any fine print in the ad that put a limit on us. It was then he said no buying gift cards with gift cards and watched us like a hawk until we left.) We went to another Target and self-checked out turning the gift cards into Disney cards. The systems totally allow it, you just have to get by the people!

Dang it! Thank you.

Well, I'm screwed for sure. I have $1700 worth of Target gift cards. Now what? We can't use them in the store for Disney gift cards, correct?

No, you can use them in store.

ETA: Their POS system allows GC to GC purchases. You may run into a poorly informed cashier or manager that will try to prevent you from doing so, but if your Target has self-checkout you can avoid that possibility altogether.

Some people are having trouble in-store, but I believe most people have been able to use them in store for GC-GC purchases.
