New ‘Free Dining’ bounceback offer now available at Walt Disney World resorts

If you book a BB offer and need to change the dates - is that possible as long as it is within the available dates of the offer? Don't have school calendar for 2017-2018 so dates that work for me would be a best guess when I am there.

I am wondering this also. I already have a visit booked for the end of Aug, 2017, but the exact dates will depend on airfare... But, yeah, free dining. A good deal for my family of 5 in a moderate!!

Dang, our dates for next year fall during this but we won't be there this Fall. Oh, well, hoping for some kind of room discount I guess.

The 4 of us (me, wife, and 2 sons) are going down to WDW in a few weeks. Would it be possible to book a bounceback for us PLUS my sister-in-law, and her son? Ideally, it would be in 2 rooms at CSR or at a value, instead of a suite big enough for everyone in the same room.

If we book two rooms using this bb offer can each room have a different park hopper ticket? One of the rooms will have senior citizens and while they will meet the two day park hopper minimum, we in the other room would like to have a longer park hopper ticket.

You would have to book one room under your name and the other room in your wife's name I believe. They won't check to see who is sleeping in what room though. :)

But you can "bounceback" 6 people, even though only 4 are on the current trip?

Yes. We once booked a bounceback for two rooms when we only had one room at the time we booked. My mom was not with us at the time, but she was planning to join us the following year for the bounceback. The person who books the room has to be at the resort when you book the bounceback, but you can book up to two rooms on a bounceback. We booked two packages- one under my name, and the other under my mom's name (who was not with us at the time).

I need bounce back offer guidance. Trying to figure out what is (or isn't) realistic.

Situation: three adults in one room; one reservation for a few days next week and a second, separate single-night res next weekend. Not concurrent (conference offsite in between.)

One friend has a family reunion in August 2017. Six rooms necessary. All friends may go (to act as tour guides) and are willing to book rooms in their names as necessary.

Second and third friends are going with a group of friends in September 2017. Two rooms needed. Friend who is lead on the 2016 reservations is NOT going on this trip.

What can we book under bounce back?

(I feel like this is a crazy math problem and I can't figure out the right answer!)

Can only the lead book two rooms? Can each friend book one room - or one per reservation? Friend one has called Disney and they keep telling her that only she can book but she can book three rooms... which matches nothing I'm reading on DIS.

HALP!!!

Each adult who is staying in the room can call to book a BB reservation in their name. They can also book more than one BB reservation. That means that they can book a BB room for August 2017 and Sept 2017. I had a CM tell me that I could book as many BB reservations as I wanted, as long as they were all for separate dates.

I'm not sure what the CM meant when they told your friend that she can book three rooms.

Okay - so all three of us can book for the Aug and then two can book again for Sept - great!

Can we book a second bounce back per person from the second stay?

They seemed to be telling her she could book three rooms, but they all had to be in her name.

Thanks!!

Question about BBs for someone who has never booked one before... if a person wants to book BB for a certain resort and they don't have any standard rooms available, is there any possibility that one could book a water view now and possibly "downgrade" to a standard later or would that never happen (ie - something opening up)...?

I suppose it's possible, but I've not had luck doing that. Last year I booked a Gardenview at POR because there was no standard available and I hoped one would open up, but it never did. The problem is, you can't check BB availability on the website like other offers, so you're just going by whatever the cm on the phone tells you. That is one of the challenges.

Yes. It doesn't matter if you booked one on an earlier trip. Guests can always book a bounceback whenever they stay in a Disney resort. :)

What is the minimum number of nights you need to book for this? Sorry if I missed it and it was already posted.
We will be arriving end of October and have reservations to go back August of 2017 so this would be great. Problem may be the fact we are not staying a full week.

The minimum is 3 nights, but your problem is that, according to the flyer that's now in the rooms, the BB offer ends (has to be booked by) 9/30/16.
