Super early but...2017 anyone?

I just told my boyfriend I am not waiting to plan another vacation after our Disneyland trip in September this year. I can't not do it so I am guessing we will go in 2017. I had a big break from Disney due to money and I hated it. Looking forward to and planning a Disney vacation is what keeps me sane! ::yes::

Me too! We keep measuring our 4 month old son for height to see how tall he could potentially be for Disney rides at 18 months haha. Right now we are 24 inches, so still about a foot from meeting anything with a height requirement :)

Booked our Bahamas cruise for 7/9/17, and will soon book one night before and 4 nights after the cruise at WDW! So hard to wait until next year!!!

I'm so glad Disney only take a small deposit. We booked our August 2017 trip back in April, and have just paid our deposit... what with the crash in the pound, and who knows what legal travel status we'll have by then (leaving EU, however things go with US elections) I'm glad we're not standing to lose much if we can't go through with it... but I'm scared I need to book my flights before those things are known, because those will be a lot of money to lose. :(

fingers crossed everything turns out well for you! And I truly hope Disney doesn't loose a lot of Brits...you're truly my favorite group of tourists just such fun people!

We booked Xmas 2017 in early June! We have the same worries. The only things they can change on your costing are the flight taxes, if you have paid a deposit, and agreed a price. But obviously, if the pound continues to be as bad or worse, then....
It's a horrible time all round. I HOPE we can still make our trip!

@DrunkJam - we haven't booked the flights in a package, we usually find them cheaper to book separately, but who knows anymore? :(

Ah, that makes sense. We just booked the package because there s a company that we prefer to travel with that does WDW (we did our WDW Escape Wedding package with them so, it feels like luck)
But, no one knows right now, for sure. Fingers tightly crossed!

Going 2 Jan 2017 thru 9 Jan 2017. My wife and some of our friends are doing the Dopey Challenge. I'm sitting that out. 48.6 miles plus walking the parks over the course of 8d/7n did not appeal to me that much. I'm sore just thinking about it and I have run a few half marathons before. Haha

i get to finally book next week on the 21st!!! OMG it's killing me in fact I keep checking just to see if I'm wrong lol
We are considering leaving on thanksgiving day (late afternoon) and driving to Mobile, AL then getting up on Friday and driving the rest of the way so adding a night stay to our Disney resort.

If I book the extra night now will it be a pain to change if we don't leave on Thanksgiving?

For the past 6 years DS and I have gone every year. This year due to the crashing Cdn $$ we had to forgo a trip to Disney. Sob! Cry!

Our next, and possibly last trip (due to retirement) is planned for Dec 2017. We've never been at Christmas/ Holiday season. There doesn't seem to be a thread that far in advance. We don't really plan anymore beyond booking 60 day fp+ and a couple of ADRs. We may try for free dining due to the great savings, but it really doesn't suit our eating "style"- LOL.

Where would I find such a thread? We're hoping to be there during that season, too. We were there this past season and LOVED it!

we got booked way back in July but we added a day to our stay. Leaving on Thanksgiving day and arriving on Friday so we will be there Nov 24th-Dec 2nd!!! Lots of time to play and take in all the sights for Christmas & I think hop over to LEGOLAND but we will see

Im looking at booking October 2017 with free dining at Animal Kingdom lodge in the next few days. First time at a deluxe!
