So excited for our first stay at AKL 9/3 -9/8. Booked through David's DVC Rental for the first time as well! We are trying to make this a trip of firsts, doing things we've never done before. Should be a great time, might even do a trip report since I've been obsessively reading them since we booked.

Since you are renting points now I assume you are locked in. Still, not a bad resort to be locked in to at all. Very nice.

For those that like Dinosaur. Kenny the Pirate just posted that it will be closed for refurbishment from July 25-Sept. 29th. Now BTMRR and Dinosaur both closed during our trip

That's a bummer. It isn't showing up on the touring plans or wdwinfo refurbishment schedules yet, but it could just be a matter of time. That is one ride my wife won't ride, but it is a good one.

I'm bummed and my daughter will be bummed, but I told my husband and he said "yay-now I don't have to ride it." lol Not his favorite ride.
