Any interest in a Candy Exchange!?

Is anyone else on this cruise because of the DVC discount offer? We are, and are on deck 2.

I have been surprised at the non response for a Candy/Local Snack exchange. I'll keep asking until mid next week. I hope some sign up, I realize I am a late comer to this thread because of when we got the DVC offer, and hope to get some interest!

Please count cabin 7080/7082 in on both lists. And I should clarify - this is one family of mom, dad, and three kids that will have one fe hanging outside one of these rooms. Just not sure how we will decorate the doors, so not sure which room it will actually be on, but as they are right next door to each other, it should be easy to spot.

We sure are getting excited about this cruise! I seem to have spent way too much time in the last weeks researching beaches!! These are new islands to us, but we have cruised before and have never had a problem with grabbing a taxi to a beach with a restaurant for lunch that can also arrange for a taxi to pick us back up. Just remember to not cut that return trip back to the Wonder too close. Don't want to be one of those crazy "family running down the pier" videos. Haha! We have also found on several islands that the driver who drops us off is happy to come back for the return trip. I have always wondered if they will really show up, but then they always do. But we still always make sure we pick a beach that we can easily get to "civilization" if we do have to call for a new taxi. Can't wait!!

We are a family of four and are booked for this cruise. I would love to hear about some of the plans people are making for port excursions (San Juan included). We have never been to any of these stops and feel a little lost about what we would like to do.[/QUOTE


We are going to the hilton barbados for the day they have a nice beach and pools a day pass is about 120 dollars, on st kitts we take a cab to marriott vacation club and hang or we go to monkey beach and snorkle. We have been on so many excusions over the years that we try to do other things. Hotels have great restraunts beaches and amenities.

We've booked Adventure River Tubing in Grenada, and the Folkloric Dance and Rum Distillery in Martinique. Those are 2 ports we've not been to. The in St. Kitts, we'll do Sail and Snorkel. We've snorkeled with turtles in Barbados and that was fun.

Looking forward to meeting some folks!

Still asking if anyone is interested in local candy/snack exchange, or in meeting for pin trading around lunch time on the sea day!

We live in Ohio, and got nothing at all from this storm. "Our" snow came on Wednesday. It was nothing like this! My mom lives in Cape May NJ, which is why we will head there, and fly out of Philly.
