Can't believe I saw this...

I thought about not posting this, because I think there's already several "bad behavior in the parks" threads floating around out there, but I just couldn't resist... Yesterday I saw a mother instruct her child (a boy, about 4-5) to urinate in the corner of the 7DMT line! It was near the front of the FP line. I was (obviously) appalled but I didn't really know what to do, so I informed a cast member hoping they would get a cleaning crew in there. Does anyone know if Disney has clean-up protocols for that sort of thing?

Disney does have a procedure. It isn't fun to clean up but I had my fair share of calls to custodial as a CM to help with a urine clean up. It would not be a protein spill/ code-v as those are vomit exclusive. My area called them yellow spills and a code B for the solid waste. Had a CP acquaintance quiet his second day because he had to go get poop out of the play area in Mission Space exit. From what I heard he went to his manager and said he didn't go to college to clean up someone else's poop.

It is totally disgusting, clean up procedure or not. She could have told the CM at the FP entrance that her little one desperately needed to pee and I'm positive they would have let her back in line when she got back.

We had just got through the fastpass line at Soarin when my little boy said he had to go. I walked back to the cast member that had taken the fast pass and I explained I needed to bring him to the bathroom and could we leave the same way we came. Without blinking an eye he gave us an anytime fastpass to get right back in the fast pass line when he was done. He said it happens pretty frequently. We didn't expect him to do that, it was really sweet of him. I'm not sure if that is normal procedure or if we just were lucky. I would have been just horrified if I had seen what you did. So gross. Shame on that mother...

OMG, just wow. And I was appalled at the 3 adults on our bus a couple weeks ago letting the 3 kids stand on the seats and swing from the loops like monkeys was bad. I don't think I could have held back a comment on that one though, that's disgusting.

Didn't the bus driver put a stop to that..? I would have said something since that is just downright dangerous for everyone! :(

I must admit, my husband and I were not quiet about expressing our disgust. I didn't want a confrontation though, that doesn't do any good. Believe me, I understand kids sometimes have to go at inconvenient times (I have a 3 1/2 year old) but dealing with that it part of being a parent. She had other kids with her too, so setting a great example...

Please tell me the #2s were total accidents, and not lazy parenting scenarios like thus.

Not sure. I have seen #2s that were clearly lazy parenting as kid is sayin mommy mommy mommy over and over going unheard until they just do their business on their own.

I can not understand this behavior. If one of my children needs to go to the restroom while we are in line we get out of line and find a restroom. It has never crossed my mind to let them go in a public place out in the open. We were in the drive through line at a popular fast food restaurant a couple of months ago and witnessed a young boy jump out of the car and urinate while his mom placed their order. My thoughts were "Seriously, how hard is it to park the car take your child to the restroom and then place your order". My daughter has a small bladder but we always find a restroom before she has an accident. Letting a child go to the restroom is important but so is teaching them respect. Ok vent over. This thread just struck a cord with me.
