Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Just returned yesterday from our first Club Level stay. We spent our trip at the Yacht Club Regatta Club. Omg--to say that I'm now addicted would be an understatement. I don't know how I'll ever go back to staying non-club-level again! :) It was absolutely glorious!

We were welcomed up to the lounge check in desk and were treated to (huge) glasses of the welcome champagne. Either they were out of champagne glasses or I was giving off champagne lovin' vibes, because they returned with pilsner glasses filled to the brim. Our room wasn't ready, but that was fine as we planned to do some exploring around the Epcot resorts. We received an upgrade from garden view to lagoon view, so the wait was worth it.

The construction is definitely visible. However, we were down waaaay down a long hall, so it didn't really bother us (aside from walking halfway to our room on plastic they'd rolled out over the carpet in the hallway). We found the temporary lounge in the presidential suite to be a real treat. We were always able to find seats, and most times sat outside on the balcony and enjoyed some privacy and the beautiful view of the Boardwalk. We really enjoyed the breakfast offerings in the lounge each morning. We only stopped in for "snack" service once. However, we found ourselves being less "commando" with our touring style this trip because we wanted to be sure to make time to pop by the lounge for the appetizer and dessert services. I don't have any complaints, it was all lovely.

Thank you again to all the helpful posters here who helped me prepare for the trip and know what to expect! If anybody has any questions about Regatta Club, I'll try my best to answer! :)

We're currently at BC CL, & I'm not as impressed as I was by our previous stay at WL CL. No welcome champagne - they didn't even walk us to our rooms. All food options are the same every day, except the evening hors d'oeuvres. No fresh desserts, only pre-made cold items. No 4th FP assistance. It's a bit disappointing, but we're having a great trip regardless.

I think wl and gf are the only ones I've stayed at that did the room escort. If it really bothers you I would go to the desk and tell them you missed the champagne and ask for a glass. How could they say no?

I loved the "breeze" juice! Missing that now.

Enjoy your day :)

Thanks for popping in and I look forward to more updates.

Hello everybody! Thank you for all the amazing posts, as it has been educational and helpful. My family of four will be at the GF SL 12/25 - 1/2. Any suggestions on a room request? I never make any specific requests with rooms, but wondered if there were thoughts on our best options at such a busy time around the resort. Thanks!

Views in SL are either of the courtyard or marina and you really can't go wrong with either one (IMO) as they are both great views, but if you would prefer one over the other, you could request it. You could also request to be close to the lounge if that is important. I hope you have a great trip as the GF is amazing, especially during the holidays :santa:.

Thanks for your review. Glad you had a nice stay and enjoyed YC CL :wizard:.

We've never tried CL at the BC, but have stayed WL CL and that is one CL that is hard to beat (IMO). BC CL was on our list to try, but after reading so many negative reviews, it is no longer one we wish to try. I'm sorry you're disappointed in CL, but I'm glad you're having a great trip overall :goodvibes.

We didn't have a room escort at WL CL but we did have one at CR CL (14th floor)! It's weird how much CL experiences can vary, isn't it? We still really enjoyed WL CL, though. Just didn't feel it was as personal as at CR.

In October, we did have the escort to the CL CM desk at BWI - but alas, no "welcome" drink, and no mention of 4th FP+.

CL experiences are so varied, it is hard to judge based on other's reviews. Even friends :grouphug: WL CL we arrived at almost 3am so no escort then. Sugarloaf was our grandest arrival, driven to the building in a golf cart, walked up and checked into the room by the CM. The gentleman who drove us also filled our ice bucket and grabbed drinks for the family. BC CL we were escorted to the lounge, given our welcome drinks, and walked to our rooms. YC CL we were taken to a suite on arrival, and even had flowers and a cake delivered to the room (from GF since they overbooked our room.
AKL CL we were not walked to our far, far away suite LOL.
I wish we were walked to our RPC room :( even after telling the concierge we were lost, we still weren't helped there.

I agree. Everyone has different opinions/experiences, so what might be great for one person might not be a good fit for someone else. As far as check in goes, when we stayed WL CL we were escorted up to CL; GF SL, we were checked in at the SL lobby desk; RPC check in was done in the main lobby. We were not taken to our room on any of those CL stays. I didn't mind not getting taken to our room or getting checked in for RPC in the lobby, but it would be nice if the procedure was the same all around so people aren't disappointed when they don't get the service they expect/hear about from others.

We will be CL at the Poly in 10 days. Does CL come with a 4th fast pass? I have our 3 per day already booked.

I am a complex newbie, researching but it is so overwhelming. We booked this trip in September and even with my best efforts, I feel like I am not "getting it" as well as I should.
We will be there 12/3-12/6! Hope we get a 4th FP!

I think the lack of consistency is why I'm a little disappointed, since we've seen numerous families welcomed with champagne & escorted to their rooms. It's definitely not a huge deal, but the little things are what make CL so special, if that makes sense. It doesn't diminish our trip at all, but I won't stay CL at BC again. We'll keep trying it elsewhere & just stay in a regular room or villa here in the future.

Lack of consistency is definitely a problem! It makes me feel horrible to tell someone how wonderful our experience at a particular resort has been, and then when they try the resort (CL), their experience is dreadful!! I'm really sorry your BC CL experience was not good. We have stayed there a couple of times in the last two years and were very pleased...but we did get our champagne welcome drinks;) Neil escorted us to our room this past June. I really think it helps to befriend some of the CL CMs. Some of them love the interaction with guests while others make it clear that they are only there to get a pay check. Those who love to interact with guests will often go out of their way to make your trip special, even if it is just by being extra friendly (and some CMs will do more than others). I really hope your next experience is wonderful no matter where you stay:)

We had Neil too! We didn't get escorted because it was 8am and our room wasn't ready.

I did feel welcome at this resort. They were nice in the lounge. They would approach our table and ask if we needed anything, etc.

They did a great job replenishing too. Very busy beavers!

I will say that our last trip nov 1-9 was spent at BW club level. From check in to check out I could not have asked for better service. We have stayed at many different hotels CL and this was by far the best experience. We defiantly felt the Disney Magic during our stay. Our room was actually on the 3rd floor, where there is only a few CL rooms but the location could not be beat. I will say I would highly recommend it to anyone that might be on the fence about taking the plunge to CL

We are staying AKL CL in a few weeks for the beginning of our trip, and then to the Swan Dolphin. Does anyone know if Disney will handle the luggage transfer, or are we on our own?

Has anyone stayed "club level" at Coronado Springs recently, or have you heard anything about it, Erika? I am flying in early for our upcoming BWI CL stay to do some Christmas shopping at the premium outlets, and I'm not sure where I want to stay. My flight gets in at 3:30, so after dropping off my things at whatever hotel, I'm going to hit the ground running....so I'm not interested in paying an extra $200+ for that night for a real CL since I won't be there! I was going to stay at the Courtyard Marriott that is literally right by the mall, but having Magical Express get my luggage would definitely be a bonus, plus I would enjoy some apps and wine before heading out ( if CS "CL" is anything like other CLs).

Well, I may have just answered my own questions about CSR business club level. I found an article about it on DISboards, of course. Although they do have my beloved Nespresso machine, it sounds like they only have chips, salsa, pretzels and nuts in the evening for snacks. Although I'd love to try the sangria, I think I'd rather stay closer to the mall. If we were staying at CSR, I think their CL would be totally worth it since the article said you are guaranteed a room close to the main building and the rooms have upgraded mattresses, but we will be eager to get to BWI the next morning, so I doubt I would even eat breakfast at CSR if I stayed there.

I was looking at prices for the BWI CL and noticed that they now have 4 options for CL. I have stayed at the BWI CL several times over the years and our next trip is in Feb. where we have a standard CL room booked and a request in for a boardwalk view. Now I see that they have a standard CL room for $596 a night,$696 for a Boardwalk view,$719 for a Deluxe room and $782 for the garden cottages. I'm pretty sure it wasn't broken down this way before.

I don't remember them charging extra for the guaranteed boardwalk view in std CL; it has been a request in the past. Deluxe CL rooms are bigger and I think guarantee you a BW view.

I would rather them charge a little more for the guaranteed view but I see it is now $100 more! I would only spend extra for the deluxe room if you want the extra space. It is a very large room.

We have a standard BWI room booked for Feb. and that was my main question "what view do we get?" At the time of booking they didn't have it broken down this way and since it's just the two of us I always felt the deluxe rooms were a waste of space for us. I would love a boardwalk room inside the Innkeepers door's but with this new change I don't even know if I can even request it because now I would have to pay $100 a night extra for the boardwalk view rooms. I did send an e-mail to IPO a few days ago but besides the "we received your e-mail and will be in touch" e-mail I haven't heard back from them so I think I will call them on Monday. The CL is fully booked for the time frame we will be there so I don't know what room I am booked in. I know I'm over thinking this (that's Disney it comes with the territory!) but it just has me really curious on how it will be handled.
