Cruising on the 14th and I'm trying not to freak out. Wonderful calm summer free of any major hurricanes and now it's just one right after another. Sigh.
Hi, I'm actually not worried, more excited! I'm the hardcore weather person...I love storms! But if my calculations are decent, if goes the right way.... It may be around the time!JLM, Its far far away....no sense to worry now!

That's like saying there wasn't much snow last October and November, but there's sure a lot of blizzards in December and January.
I'm on the Fantasy on Sept. 12, 2015 (flying in on Sept. 11), so I'm even more worried about this than the Sept. 19 people.

We are on the same sailing. No need to be worried, its taking a west north westerly path if you read what wundermap is stating. With winshear, cooler waters, the fact it's still way off from us, and its back down to a depression by Saturday I think your good. Me? as long as I am on that ship with my family rain or shine is fine by me. Bring it if you must as long as I still sail! Enjoy the cruise either way!
That's why it's considered hurricane season! Not really surprising. We are in the height of hurricane season - most of the storms that hit do so between say mid-August and the end of the season.
