Pill pack

Are you talking about the ones you get from the drug store with your meds already packed for the day or are you talking about the ones you fill on your own?

If you're talking about the one that you fill on your own, I use one. I take 12 pills every day before bed so instead of messing with them every day, I just fill it up once a week and it's done.

my mom does this every week for my grandmother, it's a seven day one. you can buy the box at the dollar store.

I'm still not clear on what you're asking. Are you asking about having a pharmacy pre-fill blister packs for you, so you just open the pack containing your morning meds or evening meds and take them, etc? Or are you thinking of using a 7-day box where you put your own meds into the little boxes and take them like that?

I have experience both ways. I take a bunch of meds at night, so the best way for me to make sure I get all the pills is to fill up my 7-day box once a week. On the other hand, my son Christian lives in a group home. He's severely mentally handicapped and unable to manage his meds. He takes 20 pills per day (15 of which are seizure meds!), so rather than have his caregiver risk making an easy mistake, I just have his pharmacy pre-package his meds for morning, evening, and bedtime. It costs me $12 a month, money well-spent, IMO.

She posted the website that caught her interest. It appears to be a mail-order pharmacy that will set up your daily meds in individual packets.

Does that cost any more for them to do it like that? If not I think that a great thing!! If it does cost more I think a med box would work just as well maybe your mom could help you.

Free shipping from what I read

That probably would have been good info to put in your first post so people would have known what the heck you were talking about and give you the answers you were looking for.

I agree but I was not sure if I would get point for the link still not sure

I guess I, like the others, assumed she meant one of those pill containers. Then she threw me with the filling it at Walmart. But no, I have no experience with them. Handy if you travel though.
