Great pictures, thanks for sharing! I really want to get the CD now. We just got our cruise documents in the mail today and I saw your pictures. Really excited now.

Thanks for your feedback :-) Awesome that you plan to get the CD :-)
I am very impressed with their photo system and quality of photographers. They will tell you what to do with your hands and position you. I keep saying how there aren't enough of these photographers out there. They tend to just snap pics without giving feedback that will enhance pictures. I love that about the Disney photographers. If they see you look funny, they will tell you stand straight. The photographers do vary. Some are definitely better than others. Look for the girl with the hair up that is curly. I think blondish. I have to look for her pic so I can share on here.

I am also thoroughly enjoying your trip report. I'm in the very early planning stages and your report has been the most helpful so far. I appreciate all the work you have put into it and look forward to reading the rest.

I'm loving this trip report so far! I showed my mom the pear thing and she about died laughing :P Thanks for sharing!

LOL...I'm not sure why I left it in her hand...if it was the fact that ah well I'm too tired or just a gut instinct to leave it with her.

Thanks :-)

Our last full day on the Disney Dream (sniff).

I woke up at 7am again. We’re at sea. Last night I left my order for room service. The forms are in the draw in the vanity.
We had it delivered at 8am. We went out on the verandah and ate it.

The clouds looked cool...

We tried to go take pics w/ the princesses but they had already closed the line by the time we got there. On the navigator I noticed the salon taster special and I called them before leaving my cabin to see if they had any availability. They told me 10am. It wasn't the most convenient time for me because we wanted to go play miniature golf but I grabbed it. I remember doing the massage on my 1st cruise and loving it. Since it was my birthday cruise, I wanted to treat myself. So I walked with the family to Level 12 for mini golf. I left them there and went for my appt. They also have fuze ball and a basketball where you play mini golf. A great idea is to play miniature golf when you are in the Bahamas because you can get the Atlantis in the background of your pictures. We just didn't get to go on this day but it's something you might want to try to do or keep in mind.

When I arrived at the spa, they gave me a locker to put my clothes and a robe to change into. Then I had to go into this room where I filled out a brief form (basic questions about allergies, etc). Afterwards, the therapist comes to get you. Mine was from England.

I chose the 8 item special for $139. One thing she was able to tell me that I don't do is exfoliate my skin (face). She said I should do it at least once a week. Since then I have it on my to do list to try and do it weekly. She said that by doing this I'll benefit more from lotion/toner that I put on my face. That it will penetrate better. I'm not that great at doing all these things. I'm pretty lazy with the face regimen.

She started giving me a facial (had cucumbers or something else on my eyes the whole time so it felt very relaxing). Then she massaged my scalp with oil (ah so good). This is where you are really enjoying every second and wishing that it could last forever. It was WORTH it to be there - soooo relaxing!!

Next was neck and shoulder massage (amazing). Again, it's those moments that you wish would last forever. Those truly AWESOME/AMAZING moments. Then she massaged my hands and next my feet (she put an oil on them). I ended up falling asleep from all the relaxation. I was there for almost two hours. I think it was a great DEAL!!!! So if you plan to go to the spa, check the navigator for their daily specials.

At the end, she just gave me a piece of paper with the products and prices she’d suggest. She didn’t ask if I wanted to purchase it. She got the que I wasn’t interested (this part did not feel uncomfortable). I was so happy because I don't like it when they try to get you to buy these outrageously priced products.

The tip is quite high! I think mine came out to at least $25. It’s automatically deducted on your bill.

My oldest daughter went to the Vibe after mini-golf. I went back to our cabin and packed most of our stuff (have to leave luggage out between 8:30pm-10:30pm tonight). Hubby and youngest daughter were enjoying the pool/Jacuzzi/Aquaduck. After I was done I met them in the Jacuzzi. Then hubby came with me to ride the Aquaduck. I couldn't leave the Dream without experiencing it. It was my first time. It was a lot of fun!!

After the Aquaduck we went to grab lunch. When we were done hubby went to hang out with our youngest daughter in the pool and I went up to deck 12 to lay out in the sun on the nice lounge chairs that are facing the ocean. Sitting there like that is just AMAZING!! Life should consist of a lot more days like that. I had brought the squirt bottle that you get at Disney with the fan. What a lifesaver!! I was constantly spraying it on. Keep this in mind if you want to lay out on Deck 12 where you are not near the pools. You will definitely need a squirt bottle to keep you feeling cool. At some point, I went to join hubby and my daughter in the pool. Then we went for ice creams. It started to rain. Alyssa found a friend she made at the beginning of the cruise at the Facebook meet and greet. She was getting her hair braided. Alyssa wanted to do it too and it was by appt. The times she had available didn’t work out well for us. Since it was just one braid she squeezed it in and did it for us. She charged $1.50 for one braid. Funny how I paid more for the tip ($3) than the braid...lol.

After our daughter got her hair braided we went to shower and finish packing to leave out our bags. We had dinner at Royale Palace (dinner time 5:45pm). I sent my husband and kids off and gave them my order that I had looked up on the menu via the app you can use on the Disney ship. I had to finish getting ready since I was packing to leave out our bags. For some odd reason, they didn't want to take my order and said they would wait for me to arrive.

Their cute bread basket...

I ordered the shrimp for cocktail. It was delicious. Nice oil taste.

Our youngest daughter ordered the chicken fingers...

I ordered the Double Cut Rack of Lamb with a Dijon Crust with fine Green Beans, Gratin Potatoes and Rosemary Jus

Oldest daughter ordered this...

Hubby ordered this...

For dessert it was a tough choice. I wanted the crème brulee but sine it was our last night on the Dream I also really wanted to have that last sundae. The Strawberry Shortcake sundae won my heart. It had strawberries, Vanille Ice Cream, Whipped Cream, and Angel Food Cake.

Hubby ordered the creme brulee...

Doesn't that look delicious?!

Our youngest daughter's dessert...

The server hugged my youngest daughter good-bye. It was such a sweet and sad moment.

He really liked our little one and tonight I was able to make the connection. He has a 5 year old daughter in Croatia and he's away working on the Dream for 6 months. He said he goes back in January. I think that seeing our daughter reminded him of his own and I suppose it helped fill a little void in his heart. Wouldn't you say by just looking at that picture? I think hugging her he closed his eyes and thought of his own little girl.

Ah....here's where I get to share my favorite photographer. This is what she looks like. If you see her, get your pictures taken. She is AWESOME!!

Tonight's show was Believe. Neither of our daughters wanted to watch it. They preferred going to the clubs. Our oldest said that maybe she'd go with her friends there but I don't think they did. Our youngest planned to meet her friend from the Facebook Group Meet & Greet. Her parents allowed her to skip dinner with them so they could have some time together which was really nice of them.

Here I am with a new stack of photos that was in our album at Shutters. Since we paid for it yesterday, now we just keep pulling out the new photos and take them with us.

She was amazing - her playing of the violin and her singing. She sang and played the song from Frozen - just BEAUTIFUL!!

At around 10pm was the preview for Zombified. The movie the teens worked on while at the Vibe with the Disney Channel. It was so cool to see your child in a movie format. It was so great that they got the opportunity to do something like this. If I ask my daughter her favorite part of the cruise, I'm sure she will tell me the Vibe.

If you like to see a lot of characters, the last night is for you. I think this may be around 10:30am. There were so many out at once and the lines were short since there were no professional pictures being taken. Everyone just took their own pictures. After this the characters took off. I believe they call this part "See Ya Real Soon" on the navigator.

cute moment...I love these kind of pics with the characters...they're so fun...

L-O-V-E :-)

I have more to share but it looks like I reached Photobucket's maximum capacity. Going to have to clear out pics I haven't uploaded in order to make room to share the rest of this trip report. Still to come...disembarkation day, FE's, etc.

Thank you so much for sharing! We leave for our first cruise on the Dream in 19 days. I am so excited, thanks for all the tips!

Great report! Love your photos....your younger drought is adorable. You may have mentioned something, but it was obvious your older daughter was not to into being in the pix. I have 3 sons 15-21 and our last cruise on the Dream this past August, I could not get them to pose for any pix. I force them at CC to let me take picture of them. They obliged but no smiles....

You make me want to hop on another cruise tomorrow. We just had 7-8 inches of snow yesterday in NJ....Happy Spring...it's awful!❄️Waiting for the real spring to come.☀️

Thanks again, for your very complete and inviting TR.

Great report!!! Thank you for all your tips! I have been writing them down to put in my cruise binder. Quick question, how much was the CD and All the photos together? We are trying to think about what we might want to do. Your girls are adorable!! Looks like you guys had a blast!

I read your TR a while back and saw people talking about your DH looking like Clooney. Lately I've been seeing this trailer for a new HBO show called The Brink, and the actor playing the US president (Esai Morales) kept reminding me of something, and I FINALLY realized it was your TR, heh. So I had to dig it up to mention this. I'm guessing your husband hears that one too.

And thanks for the TR. :)

This report was everything i needed to plan!! I was going back and forth about Disney transportation vs our own. Guess we'll be setting up our own! Thank you for the details - you put a lot of work into this!!!

Great TR! Did you find the lines long for the portrait style photos? We also have Main seating for dinner so I was wondering if going before or after dinner would be better.

What an awesome trip report. So much useful information. Loved the photos too. Thank you for sharing
