Agree - there's no way "Frozen 4Eva" would not open at 9 AM with Future World. Otherwise, they will have people lining up at 9 AM on the bridge to WS and trampling to get there.

Does anyone know if they are going to incorporate A&E into Akershus instead of Belle? They really should move Belle to BOG with the Beast for dinner IMO

Nothing as of yet I'm sure it's been discussed in Disney management.

I think this is unlikely, and I will explain why: Disney is very careful about making sure that the same characters are not in the same vicinity at the same time. While you may occasionally have cases that the same character is meeting in the same PARK at the same time, (Mickey can be seen at the Character Spot and then also at the Garden Grill in the land, which is about as close as you will ever see the same character in two locations.) they are very careful to keep in less than obvious that this is the case. Since they are building a M&G in Norway for Anna and Elsa, there is NO way they would also have a character meal with the exact same characters 50 feet away. There were probably discussions early on about whether to add them to the character meal, but my guess is the idea was that they do not need to add them to the character meal because it already is insanely popular, whereas adding a M&G adds another "attraction" to appeal to Frozen/Princess fans. Now you can do the ride, the M&G and the princess meal and have three different experiences.

For that reason, I don't think you will see A&E at Akershus - even though on the face of it it would make lots of sense.

Thanks, I just assumed the M&G if and when it was built into Norway would and should be at the restaurant.
But if WDW wants to capitalize every inch of A&E then your ideas totally make sense.
I just hate standing in line for M&G, that is why we do the meals.
Totally skipping A&E this year, saw them last year - that was good! The hassle of the FP is not worth it for a M&G to me.

There seems to be a fast spreading rumor (I repeat, RUMOR!) that the Tables in Wonderland card will no longer be offered for sale after the end of this year.

There was an April Fools post that someone made that stated that they were going to significantly change/eliminate the TIW card. All the rumors likely stem from that post. This is why I hate those type of "jokes", they lead to rumors propagating for years causing people to get genuinely upset over a joke. My DW says "nothing good ever came from the internet" and while I don't wholly agree with her, in this case on-line April fools jokes are the worst.

You did hear, however, that the widespread monorail expansion project has finally received BOD approval?

:duck:

I've seen this posted before by many people, but I don't buy this theory at all. Cinderella meets guests on the main floor at CRT and also in PFH, which are right next door to each other. Ariel meets in mermaid form and in human form (again at CRT) in two different Fantasyland locations. Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White...they all meet in the MK in addition to at CRT, and all of them were at times meeting in PFH. For awhile, Jasmine met in THREE MK locations at time--PFH, Adventureland, and CRT. Belle meets in her ballgown at Akershus and outside in the WS in her blue dress. Aurora, Jasmine, and Snow White also meet at both Akershus and in the WS. If they wanted to, they could totally have an A&E meet and greet in close proximity to the restaurant. However, I don't think they will, not because of character integrity, but instead because of staffing. To keep multiple A&Es going in how many rooms at the Epcot M&G, plus staffing more A&Es for meals seems undoable to me. Of course, if they did put A&E at a meal, they could charge an insane amount of money for it. Maybe Akershus would go to a 2 credit TS meal.

You make a good point about CRT and PFH...that pretty much shoots down my argument - though I'm sort of surprised that they M&G the same princesses in both locations. (I do agree I've seen Cinderella in both places.) This would be a similar situation, so I guess they could do it. I wonder if a reason NOT to do it is the mob-scene it would cause in the restaurant with little girls chasing the characters around. A M&G is a much more controlled environment.

Can't tell for sure, but it looks like the tiers might actually be set up for seating. That would be fantastic. Fantasmic! seems to be the only nighttime show that you can wait for sitting down - at least without sitting on the ground.
Yep, that has been the unclear thing whether it will be a standing or sitting show and it seems right now it will be seated.

Which to me explains the seating tests at F! over the past week. While they may be doing it to increase capacity in that theater, the more likely explanation is that they want to introduce assigned seats in AK for this show and it was easier to test in a similar theater

It looks interesting. Hopefully we'll get some new details on the new show soon. Considering that there really isn't much infrastructure in the actual lake, I assume it will be more along the lines of Tokyo's Fantasmic. A water parade, I guess.
