Dis Old Fogies Clubhouse – Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other. Makes No Difference!

Pretty kitty PIO. I'm watching about 4 hummingbirds chase each other around the feeders.

Yay for the lower crowd level Alison.

Jo, we're old fogies, we're supposed to be moving slower. :)

DH and his cousin are off at there 40th high school reunion, its a casual BBQ not too far from us. Hope they enjoy it.

Good morning. It's Monday again and I'm particularly slow this morning. In fact, our whole household was slow. Poor DS got to school this morning late.
Hoping to catch up today.

Yes they had a good time visiting with some friends at the reunion.

Our place has been grand central all weekend.

The boys loved Ant Man tonight.

Well we are off to a slow start this Monday. I went to the Chiropractor and stopped by the 99 cents store on the way home and Fran keeps telling me to come back in X amount of minutes, and she'll get up. I think it's been 2 hours now.

I'm catching up on my DIS threads and burning another audiobook to CD. We joined Audible about three months ago and it's been great! We have listened to about five different books by our newest favorite author Lisa Scottoline. We listened to the 10th book in the series 1st not knowing her bibliography, then we listened to #9, and by the time we figured out they should be done in order, we tried to start at the beginning through the library, but the only had book #4. Through Audible we picked up (although abridged) books 1-3, #5 and we're almost done with #6. I'm burning book #7, and #8 is on my wish list for next month when our credit comes up. Then we will be all caught up and can start on the newer books!

Pretty soon we are going to have resume the Amelia Peabody series as well!

I would love to find audible books for free, but they charge for listening. The few I have had loved it, it is relaxing listening to someone else read to you.

For us it's $14.95 a month and we get one credit per month. Fran had a coupon for half off the first three months. The books cost way more than $14.95 so with the one credit per month we are doing good. We have one more book that we need to download, and then we can get the rest from the library. I'll use August's credit for that book and then in September we can get back to Amelia Peabody.

Good evening Fogies.

It has been long week here in Vegas and I am getting pretty tired of being here for those long hours during the tournaments. But it will be all worth it later on in the future. Hope everyone is doing well. Just one more week to go until I head back to NorCal and less than a month away till the D23 Expo.

Love your kitty picture PiO.

You're definitely getting the most out of your AP Bret. Have a safe trip home from Vegas.

So true! Right now I don't have any DL trips planned for 2016. :earseek: We're hoping to pull off Niagara Falls, NY and NY to San Juan cruise next year. :boat:

I don't have any Disney Cruises planned next year, but I'm hoping to book on the Fantasy when they open up the next batch of dates!

You have a nice set of trip plans for next year Angela. Especially with with DLR 60th Anniversary this year and not much new things are going to happen next year. I will have to do the DCL one day.

We've also committed to a long weekend in Oregon next summer so next year is full.

I'm thinking maybe WDW in the Fall of 2017.

Oh wow, Bret so glad you missed that horrid fire. Hopefully you are least enjoying some time while you are there!

Sounds like good travels coming up for some.
