You'll never give up on that will you. You can't get rid of the whole core.
Beleskey and Hayes in, Smith out. Sweeney has had some redemption today.
Nope. I'll never let go of that bone. It is the same problem I've always had with Rondo and JD Drew as well. Just staying monotone throughout day to day games. But looks like it will never come to pass.
As it stands right now (barring the 9 or 10 moves that Trader Donnie will make today and sign Hayes & Connolly), I think the lines will be like this:
Eriksson/Krejci/Connolly
Marchand/Bergeron/Hayes
Beleskey/Spooner/Pastrnak
Talbot/Kelly/Rinaldo
Now, some might think "You can't put the new $3.8m wing on the 3rd line." My answer to that is, on the Bruins, the number associated with your line has very little to do with your TOI (except 4th). Plus, with Beleskey's size and scoring touch, he could be a nice balance with the 2 young guns.
The D pairings are tougher to figure out. You know who the lead for each pair would be, but you don't know who their opposite will be.
Chara/ ?
Seidenberg/ ?
McQuaid/ ?
? = Krug, Miller, Trotman, Morrow and outside shot Arnesson.
In net, you got:
Tuukka, with Smith penciled in to back him up. But expect spot starts for Subban and McIntyre
And in all seriousness, I'd love for Trader Donnie to put a package of picks and prospects to get Seabrook (who is going into the last yr of his deal).
Can't wait to see what Twitter offers today. I hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th.
PS: Best wishes to Marc Savard. I know the move was more or less fictional and done financial purposes. But I'll never forget how the signing of him and Chara helped re-invigorate the fan base around here.
Thank you and best wishes.
