Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

The split stay sounds like a great idea, but deciding which hotel won't be easy! Have you stayed at each of these before? I have never stayed at CR CL before because the pool doesn't impress me, but you will have just been at SAB, so that probably won't matter for you. I'll probably try it sometime in the winter. I have to admit that those Poly LV pics that TJA posted are gorgeous...although I do think the bungalows mess up the view on the far side from the lounge. I wonder when construction on the quiet pool will actually begin? It probably wouldn't be any noisier than the napkin spin song/dance at Chef Mickey's early in the morning-lol:) I do love the marina view in SL too...but that view from the Poly CL lounge is awesome! I like the food at GF best, but I've been spoiled by the nice views from the RPC lounge, so I might lean more towards Poly?? But I do love the band at GF. Ok, forget it...I am NO help! Let us know what you decide! But now I've got one for you... My DH has been working A LOT. He called me from Houston earlier (I live in TN) to see if I want to go to BC for a few days in early December (just the two of us). But there aren't very many King beds at BC, so I'm wondering about BWI. Do you know how many King beds they have? We're still keeping our GF trips, so it probably doesn't matter that much, but I was thinking about BWI and haven't stayed there before. It looks really pretty...and it's too cold for me to swim in December, so I won't mind the clown slide -LOL:)
I love the BWI I don't think it gets nearly enough attention from this thread. Our stay last summer was amazing! King beds are definitely hard to get. Pretty much the only way to guarantee a king is to book a one bedroom villa. But then you won't have CL.
This morning I am still completely torn on which resort to choose. We had a fantastic stay at the CR CL last year so I know it would be great. I'm hesitant to try the Poly because I swore I wasn't going back until the construction was finished. I'm sensitive to noise. If I can find an opening for RPC I will definitely do that. Right now they only have Sugarloaf.

Ha I won't be any help either. Those are my favorites!!!

Erika, just do what I do, pick one and make plans to go back for the others:)

Really suffering from withdrawal and can't wait for my upcoming trip!!!

I've been lurking around the Boardwalk Inn area and someone who just returned said they are doing little tea sandwiches at 3 pm now! I hope it is still going on when we visit! I LOVE those little sandwiches at GF Tea Room. I'm really excited about the visit. DH and I have both decided to stop looking for something on the monorail area. I'm still not sure about that clown pool but from what I gather it's on the opposite side from the CL area.

The work group DH was going to was moved ahead by one day so we have to cut our stay short by one day. Dates are now July 25-29 and finalized! Magic Bands arrived yesterday too.

24 days and counting down. :hourglass

CM I spoke with said there are only 4 king beds on the 4th floor CL, 3 which are accessible and usually reserved. So you have a 1 in 57 chance!

I'll cross my fingers for you if that is your request.

Liz

Oy! Thanks! Here's hoping. I'll live without one, but really would prefer a king!

I'm seriously considering a split stay!!!! :scratchin Instead of 8 nights BC CL I'm thinking 6 nights and then move to a monorail resort for the last 2 nights. Right now I can get CR Atrium club, GF sugarloaf, or Poly LV CL. Which should I choose??? :hyper::hyper::hyper:

We are doing a Cl split too! AKL/CR! If you call and ask for them at CR they have 4 non suite rooms on the 14th floor tower Cl that are bookable, and I know at least the 2 king rooms have big oversized balconies with MK views. It wasn't much more $ than atrium club! Just a suggestion!

It would be nice if it was more. One thing to consider, AKL is usually the least expensive CL of all the resorts. Sometimes when you look at the overall picture (depending on time of year) the cost may be pretty comparable.:flower3:

Hi there! :wave:The IPO that works with the Epcot resorts often identifies itself in emails as YC/BC, but it works with BWI guests, too. You're in good hands. Happy planning!:goodvibes
Hi Gwynne! I've missed you! Thanks for the reply. I'm Hopi g for a BW view for our 4 nights in CL but I know it's just a request ☺️ Looking forward to at least giving BWI a try!
Can't wait to spend 2 weeks with my hubby on DCL, at WDW and Uni!!!

Hi Marie! You have a fabulous vacation planned, sounds like such fun! BWI is our favorite resort. Beautiful, relaxing, and a really nice CL.
Your cruise and popping over to Uni will be great, too. Enjoy! :sunny:

That's a good point :)

Eenie Meenie Minee Mo! I picked Sugarloaf! :sunny: So we'll be 6 nights BC CL and 2 nights GF SL! Only 24 more days of waiting!!!! :flower3:

I was going to chime in, then I saw you made your decision. I think it's a great choice. I'd be concerned about noise at the Poly, although those views are lovely (or they were before the bungalows went up...). SL is really nice in the summer, since it's super-convenient to the pools and so easy to go in and grab a drink or a snack on a pool day. Have a magical trip! :)

Yeah I just didn't want to risk it. I've read about the electrical problems, water problems, alarms, construction noise, etc, and it concerns me. I'm just going to hang tough until the construction is finally over.

Excellent plan!
Electrical problems, water problems, alarms, and construction noise sounds like a bad episode of House Hunters Renovation. No way would that be a vacation. :crazy2:

I'm so excited that Nic will wake up in WDW on his 16th birthday! :D

That's awesome! My oldest will wake up in WDW on his 18th birthday this year! (18!! wait, how did that happen???) Unfortunately, that's also the day we have to head for home

We're doing the same-DD's 21st on our first day (yikes, had to bring in reinforcements 'cuz I cannot drink around the world anymore) and DS's 19th on our last day. She wants a tiara and her birthday button for the whole week and I'll be lucky if he puts his button on at all...

My boys are the same way. They never want to wear the pin or draw attention to their birthdays. Party poopers! ;)
