This will be our second cruise and first trip on the Magic. We will be sailing with friends we made on our first cruise. Has that ever happened to anyone else? Meet ups and FE gifts are already being planned.

This is our first cruise on any cruise line!
Just booked our cruise last night and 'linked' our family reservations to ensure we'd all be seated together for meals.
I'm so new to all of the cruise lingo, but excited to learn all about it!

I'm definitely looking to understand about how the ticketing process works for the meet-and-greets. Are they limited? We have two little girls in our party who are princess die-hards!

Welcome to your first cruise. We loved our first one. We are not sure what your referring to when you say tickets for meet and greets. As far as we can remember the daily navigator that is placed in your stateroom will have the times for meet and greets and you just show up and meet the princesses one after the other. We took a picture with Anna who was at a separate location. On a side note my wife and I ran the same rundisney race as you.

We will be bringing our girls this time. Ages 14 and 9 for their first cruise to share in the excitement.

This will be our 6th cruise and our 2nd time on the Magic. But we haven't been on it since they reimagined it, so looking forward to it! I have girls, who will be 24, 12 and 6.

We were on the Dream in Jan and they had just begun the meet and greet ticketing. Overall I would say it went much smoother than I expected. We requested meet and greets for the princess gathering and for Anna & Elsa (separate gathering) and were given tickets for specific times. We then went to the appropriate location at that time and they would only let people who had tickets for that time frame line up. Wait times were MUCH shorter than on previous cruise. I did not hear of anyone who was unable to get tickets though there were some who did not get the ideal times they wanted, I think the tickets were in 15 min or 1/2 hour increments. Basically they have so many tickets for each time slot and then start filling the next one. We were concierge so just went to the lounge to request times, not sure how to do it for non-concierge, but hopefully someone else can chime in.

Greetings! Our first cruise. Just a mother-daughter short cruise before a longer family cruise in July 2016. DD will be 11 years old. Wildly excited and will likely have tons of questions for the experienced cruisers!

Slowly getting more people on here. I'm sure we all can't wait. As for right now the cruise will be our third trip in 6 months. We are calling it the great adventure of 15-16. Food and wine to start marathon weekend in the middle and possibly princess weekend to finish up with the cruise. That's a lot of miles covered hope I live through it.

Its our first cruise with our daughter (3 by the sail date). My husband and I went on a Carnival cruise and were greatly disappointed. We have high hopes for this one. And we are bringing friends with us! 6 adults and 2 children in all

This is our second cruise, but the first with our son who will be six at time of sailing.

We loved our first cruise and we are going with friends this time around so I hope it will be fun!

Just booked this today. Fifth Disney cruise, first on Magic. (3 Fantasy, 1 Dream).

On our May cruise we met people we knew from previous cruises. If you go the same time each year this tends to happen. But we're breaking the pattern by going in February. I suspect the water at CC will be chilly, since it was in May!

Just booked today with my lovely race buddy! We're going to be shipping out after the Princess 1/2 for my 5th cruise (going for the gold with 3 Wonder and 2 Magic) and my friend's first. I'm so excited for her and what a perfect way to get in some post race relaxation! We haven't discussed FE but we'd probably be interested if anyone is doing one. That being said we are two adults so I understand if people plan on doing a kids or families only one.

my wife and I did that exact thing in 2014. I got some looks walking onboard wearing bright blue compression socks. It was a great time. {content edited by a moderator} We will have two of our kids with us but would still enjoy meeting new people. I would love to hear about your run experiences.
