Hello everyone! We just came back from a 4 night stay at CBR and we LOVED it!!! We stayed here back in 2003 and this was our first time back to this resort as we usually stay deluxe. I must say everything about this resort was amazing. We were in building 32, (Trinidad North which I believe was a preferred location) room 3248 which was a corner room, top floor at our request. The location was perfect for our family...steps to the quiet pool, which we used twice a day and loved it, and also about a 3 minute walk to the food court and main pool. The food court did get quite crowded at times (especially breakfast), but we never had problems finding a table inside or out. The food choices were good and plentiful and the food was very tasty. Hubby's favorite were the fresh omelets for breakfast! The main pool was busy and we did not visit there only because DD is 16 and we were very busy for our short stay there. We booked a bounce back for 4 nights in September and requested the same location and hope to use the main pool then. I also wanted to comment that the room furnishings are beautiful, beds are super comfy and room was spotless!! Mousekeeping was wonderful and all the workers we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. Every area of the resort was also immaculate!! I am so glad we tried this resort again and would recommend anyone wanting to try a moderate to try CBR, you won't be disappointed!!!

I'm glad that you had a great time! This will be our first time staying at CBR and after reading all the wonderful reviews, we are ready to go! Let the countdown begin...only 98 more days! :yay::banana:

That laundry app makes me totally want to do a load while we are there......and we're only there for 6 nights. Did you bring some laundry soap pods with you, Lisa?

I did. I bought a travel size pkg. if Gain pods. There is detergent for sale but I think it was all generic. I will go back and double check if you need me to.

I got PIXIE DUSTED!!!! They went to the resort manager and asked if they would "overbook" the free dining for me so I could have the extra night! I love CBR!!!!

This was after losing my resort reservation while trying to check last night...and the a CM on the phone yelling at me and telling me I only had RO booked! I talked to guest services and they called CBR and made an exception. I'll be there Sept 3rd to the 12th now!!!!!!!!
That's great news! Glad it worked out for you!

100 days from now i will be at CBR!!!!! :tigger::donald: Thank to all above who provided feedbacks! My 1st time here at CBR..can't wait!!!:earboy2:

May I ask how you submitted your room request? Was it by fax, phone, online check-in, etc.?
It was by phone. I really think if we would not have been delayed 10.5 hrs in the airport and would have got to the resort by 2pm like we were supposed to I might have been lucky. I was afraid to do online check in because we didn't know if we were going to have a flight or not. I was most upset with the cm dragging out the check in process playing on me being really tired & hungry. Just hoped for some pixie dust since he wished me a happy birthday and gave up anniversary pins.

In regards to laundry, I've never had the need to do it while down at Disney. However, our upcoming trip is longer than we've ever stayed, so I think I'll be doing a load or two. I can't imagine it's a problem, but how secure does everyone feel leaving their laundry in the machines unattended? Like I said, I can't imagine that anyone would steal someone else's clothes, but stranger things have happened. I feel silly asking, honestly, but the thought has crossed my mind.

We've done several loads both at POR & AoA. Never stayed with it & just set a timer on my phone. Looks like the new machines/system will make it easier to know when it's done. I guess it depends on your comfort level, but I've seen lots of unattended laundry.

We have done laundry every trip and never stayed with it. You could always take a dip in the quiet pool which is right beside the laundry

I'll give you my wife's phone number...maybe you can convince her that doing laundry on vacation is a good thing!!! :rolleyes1

Thank you!! Def going to request Jamaica!! Love the colors!!!

We'll be staying here November 5-11, I'm running the Wine & Dine Half. We haven't been to CBR since 2011. The rooms look great! I can't wait to come back!

First timers and already obsessing! What does everyone recommend eating at the food court? we will have free Disney dining so just curious as to how to maximize at CBR. Do their smoothies count as a QS drink and are they good?
