Ugh to the three hour flight delay. That really ..... you know what......I applaud you for getting up so early, but then having to wait all that time. Bummer!

Smart move - taking ME to the Boardwalk to pick up the car. I honestly never thought of that, but will in the future.

UGHHHHHHHHH to the missing DVC ID. That would have been SO annoying. I have a special wallet that I use for traveling to WDW that has all that crap in there so I do hit a snag like that. Obviously I learned the hard way.

Beautiful pictures of OKW and, once again, Vinny looks so happy on the boat ride over.

Now I miss OKW even more!

Catching up.

That's not great when you get to the airport early and then end up having to wait hours for the plane to take off!
I hate people that just don't have any sense of civil responsibility. What a family! Kudos to Disney for waiting for them. They could have made them wait for the next bus.
Great room at OKW. Glad you sorted it out with DME and being able to pick up the car.
I find the boats at Disney really relaxing as well.

What a shame about your DVC cards. Seems that some of the Disney policy might need to be reviewed.

No it is not.
I give the driver kudos for waiting even though he kept inching away but they stayed and waited. I feel sorry for the people on the bus.
I would think so. If you the proper ID to prove it is you I don't see the big deal.

Day 1: Part 3

We got on the bus and were on our way. We did make it in time for the reservation and soon we were seated and looking out the window to see this.

Nothing better than Sanaa for dinner. I love this place. Here is what we ate.

Drinks:
Scott - White Sangria.

Vinny - Red Sangria

Appetizers:
Scott - Tomato Soup - with Paneer cheese

Vinny - Salad Sampler - Choice of 3 salads: Chickpeas with Cucumber and Tomato; Watermelon, Cucumber and Fennel; Kachumbari; Mango; Bhel Puri

Then we had a little break between courses and I saw some animals.

Entrees:
Scott -
Slow Cooked in Gravy, Simple and Well Seasoned - Choice of two served with Five-grain pilaf, Butter Chicken & Spicy Durban Shrimp.

Vinny - Slow Cooked in Gravy, Simple and Well Seasoned - Choice of two served with Basmati Rice, Spicy Durban Shrimp & Sustainable Fish with Goan Curry.

Then when I finished I saw some animals.

Dinner was done and we then went outside.

They had the fire pit going.

Then we went inside again.

We then jumped on a bus and went back to Downtown Disney and then caught the boat back to Old Key West. We then crashed as it had been a very long day already and we were out like a light.

Up next,

Apartment hunting and DTD.

P.S. Jetblue gave us a $50 credit for the mess that morning. Considering it was half the cost of the ticket I thought it was nice.

I've been following but I don't think I've commented yet!!

I relate to hating everyone's driving but your own. ME TOO. I was in a bad accident when I was 20, and ever since then I have been a terrible passenger. I don't like not being in control of the car!! My poor husband And I always feel so bad because I know I'm being obnoxious, LOL. But I can't help it.

I love your pictures of the resorts and Sanaa is on my must do list, but we still haven't gotten around to it. Next year hopefully!

What car rental is at the Swan and Dolphin? I know I asked you before but I can't remember.

Love the pis at AKL. Now I wish it was the end of September. I do like that resort. I will try and keep up but you know me I read and forget to comment.

Day 2.1

This day we started off seeing apartments. We saw one in Oviedo but the area was too congested.
Then we saw one in Windermere and we liked it along with the area.
Then we saw one in Champions Gate and it was nice but Vinny didn’t like the area because there wasn’t much there.

This was an all day thing and we got back to the resort and relaxed and then around 5:30 we headed out and we had dinner plans.
Our welcome mat.

Here was our car for the trip, 2015 Camry. It was a very nice car. We had a 2009 and it was terrible but it looks like they fixed what they did wrong.

Soon enough we were at our destination.

Vinny made a friend. LOL.

Then we went into the Christmas store. I took photos. LOL.

I want the big Mickey.

I will be buying this so it can go around our tree this year.

Nice they don’t forget their Jewish friends.

Then we left there and went to.

We looked around but I didn’t any pics. I did find spices I want to buy when we move.

I wanted one but we were on our way to dinner so that was a no go.

Then we went into Basin and smelled all the soaps.

Next up was.

I was looking for a case for my LG G3 but nothing was there.

Then we came upon.

Saw a plaque with the new name.

Oh I remember now what I was looking for also in WOD, a Star Wars magic band. Couldn’t find any there but did see C-3PO ears.

I think I will stop here as up next starts dinner.

OKW pics make me want to go back there SO bad, but we are really excited for BC this summer. Disney Springs, I like the new sign! Next year I HAVE to find a way to do F&G!! Your life is in fast forward, but in a good way and very exciting SO happy for you and Vinny!!!

How torn up was the DTD area? Did you find it interfered at all with your shopping or the enjoyment of the area? I think it will look great when it is all done but if it is too chaotic I may give it a miss in December.
