Does anyone know the fax number for the beach club that I can fax my room request to a week before my trip? TIA

So £54 to change dates to the ones I wanted ALL ALONG and husband say - I need to check with work. WHAT. But these were the original dates, not the second choice but thought we would have to go with dates :crazy2::hyper2:o_O

People don't fax in a room request these days, they call it in. You can call 407-W-DISNEY, assuming you booked through Disney.

I have already done that but I was to fax it in as this insures the hotel gets it. The last 2 years at Beach Club they said they did not have any special requests on our reservation.

Any suggestions for the best way to handle check in when switching from AKL to BC? Is it best to just take a taxi or should we take the bus to Epcot or Hollywood Studios?

When we did a split stay we had the BC transfer I luggage to Poly, then we headed out to whichever park we had planned. After finishing with our day we boarded the Poly bus, went straight to check-in and had our luggage sent up.

We made it! Oddly our room was not even assigned when we got here. So they found us a room and I am happy that it was available right away but the only request we got was a daybed. We had requested first floor gazebo view, but nothing was available. We are room 4612. Looking at the front entrance side of the resort and kind of a hike from the lobby. Not really sure why a room wasn't even assigned before getting here but I think there is a huge convention here til Monday. Have to say the room looks in good shape. Had a rough go of the bus transportation to and from MK today. And for a MK family I am hoping for better as I did miss the monorail. Can't wait until we spend some time at the pool tomorrow afternoon!

Question... Since we are very close to the beach club side of the resort is there a stairwell/entrance on this side that we can use to get to the marketplace and pool? Or do we have to go back to the elevators and lobby?

Hi! We are staying at the Yacht Club for the first time this summer. I'm wondering if there are toasters to make our own toast somewhere like there are in the food courts at other resorts?

:welcome:

Let us know the dates of your trip if you would like to be added to the Be Our Guest list we keep on Page 1.

As another poster has responded, yes, there is/are toasters available in the BC Marketplace for guest use.

:goodvibes:

HI! We are going to stay at the Yacht club with FD in Oct and go to the Mickey Halloween party. I have 3 kiddos (12,9,&5). We were staying at POR, but we couldnt get the FD for our dates and opted for the upgraded room with FD for nearly the same cost. Was this a good move?

:welcome: to this thread and posting on the DIS.

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

:cool1:

:) I'm excited! I really hope the kids love it. We have never been to DW & all of this planning is overwhelming! We did get all of our dinner reservations that we asked for...that helps. :) Be our guest, Cinderellas Royal Table, The Crystal Palace, Akershus, & Tusker House. Are those good?

That's a pretty impressive line-up of some of Disney's most popular restaurants and character meals.

:)

Anyone have any information about handicap accessible rooms at beach club? They've listed that on my reservation, even though I did not request it. When the discounts were released for September, the customer service rep helping me told me that she would remove me from that type of room. However, when I got the email confirmation, we're still listed as being in a handicap accessible room.

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list. September? BC or YC?

:woohoo:

Greetings YC and BC friends!

New to the thread but I managed to read most of way through. We are 49 days out from our next WDW trip and 53 days away from checking into Beach Club for the first time, wooohoooo! :cool1:party:

Can you add us to the Be our Guest list, 23-28 Jun?

I am tring to figure out what room requests to make. I want to keep it simple, mostly cause all I really want is a full balcony but I also want to be far away from construction noise. With a late June stay, should I request floor 3 room or higher to try and avoid the worst construction noise? Thanks!

Gennie

I love your screen name!!! My two favorite houses- I fancy myself a Ravenclaw.

I'll second the information from another poster. I have read that the BC/YC resort does not pay attention to faxed requests. Best to call it in.

::yes::

Is it Bad that I'm drooling at Best Aunts Avatar?????

Can I just tell you how glad I am to see you posting here again!

I bought Aqua Bloom hand soap and it smells like beach club!!! It's from bath and body works. OMG I was so thrilled I went and bought 10!!! Even my kids made the comment!
I think their Fresh Cotton, or was it Fresh Linen also smells like BC. I got the room plug in bulbs! Will have to look at the Aqua Bloom my next trip!

Hopefully happier planning ahead :goodvibes

Does anyone know if the bakery in France still opens early for breakfast? Have any of you done this before heading into Future World?

That sounds like a good idea. We have only done at split stay one other time that we didn't have our own car. Transferring the luggage to BC and then just going to Epcot like originally planned seems like the best idea then. After our late lunch, we can just start waking to BC and check in. Thanks for the feedback.

Totally off topic. Had to share. All together now. AwnhhhhhView attachment 91914
So we must have had a busy day yesterday as this was the first place I heard this news!!! Adorable!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I'm no authority but I heard on here somewhere that they do open early for breakfast!
