Speaking of the upcoming Disney trip. I don't think I will be able to book FP until the 30 day mark, which will be on Sunday May 10 (Mothers' Day). MK closes at 2 am on Saturday May 9. What time can I start booking FP? Midnight? 1 am? 2 am? I am thinking it is 2 am after MK closes, but would appreciate confirmation from someone who knows.

Fast pass booking opens later when there have been late park hours. So yes, it will be 2am.

I would keep checking. A lot of the free dining people who originally jumped on the offer are changing their dates so something might open. Although it does look like you got the last room available for free dining. Good job!

Thanks everyone. I was able to modify my 3 rooms from pool view to garden view with free dining today. A total savings of $3,100. I am a very happy camper right now. Said a few prayers and they were answered. Right after she completed my reservations their system went down.

I had the same issue for the same dates. Nothing available. I was able to find a room only discount but depending on DH's ability to get his vacation moved we may switch dates to get a garden view room and free dining earlier in the month. If I end up dropping the RO discount is there a way to let you pick it up?

Hi! We are staying at the Yacht Club for the first time this summer. I'm wondering if there are toasters to make our own toast somewhere like there are in the food courts at other resorts?

Looks like there will be quite a few of us there end of Aug/early September celebrating Anniversaries. Popular celebration resort I guess!!! Hope there are enough King bed rooms to accommodate us all. LOL!!!! Congrats to everyone else marking a special occasion.

The agent I had, India Rose, was fantastic. When I told her what I was trying to do she said lets get on this right away so we can see if we can get all 3 rooms. I was nervous we wouldn't get the 3 rooms as we need them kind of close together as my husband and I will be babysitting the kids some nights. She worked her magic and got me all 3 rooms. Right after she confirmed the 3 rooms her system went down. I checked MDE and 2 rooms are showing garden view but the 3rd room is showing pool view with the reduced price. My prayers were answered this morning.

That's so amazing!! I feel like I need to be able to stop constantly checking, this has been all week like this!! Right now I checked and there's a FD garden room at yacht that I'm going to pick up. Significant savings.
Not sure if their rehab will be going on then or not though....

We won't be there this year but that is exactly what got us hooked on YC/BC 7 years ago...end of August/early September anniversary celebration trip at BCV.

We've since stayed in regular BC rooms as well as at YC and will be at BC/BCV again this summer.

I have a question. We check into the BC 8/31. I have a request for full balcony as my only request. But I would really like a refurbished room. Should I put in a request? Or will the rooms be done by then?

We don't know yet. With construction work, it is always tricky to predict an end date. Chances are decent they will be done by the end of August, so my advice is not to add the request for a refurbished room at this time. In August, once we have a better feel for how close the work is to completion, then you have plenty of time to decide if you are going to change your room requests to add that.
