What kinds of food can you get using a snack credit at the resort for breakfast? (if any) Are things like a muffin, or granola bar included as a snack for the DDP? Not a big breakfast eater and would rather use a snack credit vs a QS credit. All i'm seeing are things like popcorn, ice cream bars, etc. :mickeybar

So I am going to ask, since I'm terribly confused. Is the INTERIOR bus loop a bus you take and then get off and have to board another bus to the parks? OR do the park buses go around the loop and leave the resort after the last stop? I can't seem to find a clear answer. Thank you so much!

The parks buses stop all the different "islands"/sections of the resort, plus OPR. They will then head to the parks after stopping at all sections. Depending on where they enter the first stop will be either Jamaica (last stop will be Trinidad South) or Martinique (last stop will be Barbados).

The internal shuttle bus just goes around the resort to all the "islands" plus Old Port Royale (food court, main pool, etc) and the Custom House (check-in/check-out, Magical Express, Resort Airline Checkin). It's basically for people to get to/from OPR & the Custom House and their rooms.

Yes, there are things like muffins, bagels, croissants, etc that you can get using a snack credit. I've never gotten one, but you can probably get granola bars too - although it would probably be easier and more cost-effective to bring a box of those with you from home or as part of a delivery from Garden Grocer.

That's a good idea, Thank you so much for this helpful information! :)

I am just now reading about the beds in the pirate rooms (half mattresses). Ugh. Not sure if I should try switching to a regular room. If I booked our stay through Southwest Vacations do I call WDW or Southwest? Our stay is showing up in MDE on the website.

My dd's are 12 and 3. I think the 12 year old would really like the pirate room. However, I don't want to be uncomfortable for 6 nights either. LOL

We bring a box of breakfast bars and a bag of those little powdered doughnuts with us. Then we use the snack credits for things like fudge, cupcakes, rice crispy bricks, etc. in the parks. I was so mad the first time I got a banana with a snack credit and then realized that I could get all sorts of really good stuff in the parks instead! They tell you things like a small popcorn, a drink, a piece of fruit and they don't tell you that you can really splurge with it when you get into the parks. I'll take a huge cupcake over a banana anytime on vacation!:rotfl:

I need to be removed from the list for December. :sad1: We have decided to delay our vacation until 2016 when we can go for longer than just 4 days and as more than just a side trip, hopefully around Halloween. Too much going on this year already. Enjoy your 2015 vacations everyone!

Sounds like bringing something from home for breakfast is my best bet. I mean who would want to waste a snack credit on something so boring. I would much rather use them on something like cupcakes! Thank you for letting me know, I'm new to this whole dining plan thing. :thanks:

All the park buses stop at every bus stop. The internal bus just does a loop of all the Villages, OPR and the Custom House. So if you're going to MK all you have to do is go to the closest bus stop and get on the bus marked Magic Kingdom.

It is no problem at all. I wish someone would have clued me in the first time I did it. Also, we ate an early lunch and a late dinner because you get dessert with your lunch and by the time you eat it, you are stuffed. There are to go boxes and bags in the back of the dining area in CBR. That is where we pack up all of the unused snack credits and bring them home. Except for once...we used our extra snack credits on nothing but fudge in MGM and brought it home. hehe

How are we feeling about the likelihood of CBR being included in free dining for 2015? Anyone have any thoughts? My fear is that it will be removed from FD due to the refurb.

I'm a little nervous about it. I checked our dates earlier today, and all that came up with availability was Preferred View and one Pirate Room category..I can't remember which one. Of course, 30 minutes later, it said booking was unavailable and I couldn't price out any resorts, so it could have been a glitch.

In another forum someone was having the same problem so they called Disney to see what was going on. They told her that they were updating/making changes to the website so things like that happening would be likely.

I'm also in high hopes for FD. I'm beyond excited to stay at CBR for the first time. I've always had to stay at a value resort due to expenses. I really hope they don't exclude it because of the refurb, but it has definitely crossed my mind. CBR or free dining....a decision I don't want to have to make. :worried: Being able to stay at CBR and get FD would be amazing! Hoping for some pixie dust Disney magic! pixiedust:

This thread has a list of eligible snacks on the DDP. It is from 2014, but I think that it is the same for the most part. I agree that you should bring a box of granola bars, and use your credits for much yummier snacks.

AND i'm not sure if anyone has mentioned to you that you can get amazing savoury snacks as well that can fill the gap between meals .. EPCOT gives you the option of Lobster Bisque or a ham & cheese croissant in France to name just 2. Just make sure you look for this symbol on every menu board to figure out what you can grab Don't forget to ask at every sit-down place what is available for your "drink" ... at the Plaza and 50's Prime Time you can get a milkshake, some Counter Service places have a few different things offered at dinner that are larger .. take the time to look at the menus on AllEars since they are updated regularly by people who have actually eaten there. http://allears.net/dining/
