Surprise Solo Weekend Adventure Time!: An April 2015 PTR - COMPLETED 4/27!

So cute! How amazing that Rachel got it for you!
And I can't decide if Harley is a Hufflepuff or doesn't like Hufflepuff (and therefore feels a need to cover the Hufflepuff part of the seal)

Tell me about Pete's Silly Sideshow? I love the photos of Minnie and Daisy that I see from it, and I know they share a line, which is excellent. How IS the line, though? I noticed there was no FP+ option for it, which I totally was thinking of grabbing. For those of you who have done it, is it a long wait? Being such a quick trip I've got this time, I'm not willing to dedicate TOO much time to waiting to meet them. I do think they are totally adorable though, and would love to do it if the wait isn't awful. :scratchin

So ... we waited 20-25 minutes. It was probably one of our least favorite lines of the trip. It's just a boring line and you're just standing there with nothing to do. But for us it was worth it because we wanted to see them and it was our last chance. I think at 15-20 minutes its doable (especially if you can keep yourself entertained on line), but longer might not be because it's such a short trip.

We did it last trip. I hear that the line can be super quick, but it was just average for us. We waited about 15ish minutes to see goofy and Donald. I was ok with that because they are both favorites of our oldest and spent time having GREAT interactions with everyone. Then you have to go out, through the dump shop and back around to get in line for Minnie and daisy. When we got back in line, they left for a break so that was an extra 10ish min wait, then about 15 or so to finally meet them. They weren't as fun as goofy and Donald. I'd say if you can catch it when the wait is 10 min, during a parade, early or late, go for it. Otherwise, I'd say if you want to go, pick just one side to do. It's a cute meet, but not a must do for us since you can meet them other places.

I'm pretty sure that Harley is a Gryffindor. As you all have seen, he's very brave and adventurous, and a little bit of a show-off. Butters is totally a Hufflepuff. He's very loyal (to me), and is a hard-worker (when he's eating or tearing something up). #sortinghatsforcats

Thank you for this, that helps a lot! :goodvibes

Interesting! I was only planning on doing the Minnie/Daisy side this time. I dig Goofy & Donald as much as the next girl, but I'll save them for another time. I mainly just want Minnie and Daisy for the outfits they're in... So cute! :cutie:

HOORAY!!!! T-Minus 72 hours until I'm on the road to DISNEY! ::MickeyMo

Much to Harley's dismay, the blanket isn't staying on the bed. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do with it yet, I'm thinking maybe the guest bed. Or just keep it on the couch for cuddle up under. I'm sure he'll find it and make use of it, no matter what I do with it. :cat:

What on earth is a Frog Tog? :confused3

I love that list! There's an incredible one at allears.net too. Both of the things I need to pick up at Walmart concern my ECV, so I'm probably fine for all the standard stuff. I just thought I'd hear ya'lls essentials, to make sure. :thumbsup2

Bahaha! I'm the SAME wait! My quick little three night "1-small-bag trip" has now turned into a 1-suitcase-a-tote-bag trip. Whoops! :rotfl:

I think it has to be said: we're soul sisters my friend.

So. I'm sure you have an idea of what was in the bag now...

The most amazing part is this: Rachel had NO idea.

This is absolutely amazing!!! Yay for that!!! :hyper:

Sorry - I got nothin' for ya on Pete's Silly Sideshow as I haven't yet taken the time to check it out myself.

You're down to TWO work days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :jumping1:

I love the Hogwarts throw. :lovestruc That was really nice of Rachel to get that for you.

The shortest character line I've been in was for the Disney Visa card holders at Epcot. We have been there twice late in the day, like 6:45pm, right before they close, and it has been almost a walk on.

This is awesome!

I can't wait to hear about your trip!
Thanks!!! I'm so exciteddddd! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

I think so, too!

Say whaaaaat! See, this is exactly the kind of thing I was hoping to hear about! I'll look into these when I make my Walmart run after work tomorrow! Where would I find them? In the Sporting Goods section? :scratchin

Isn't it gorgeous? I just love it! :lovestruc I have the best work wife!

If you mean the Character Spot, I did FP+ for that one in September. It was a great experience! :thumbsup2

Yep!

Thank you so much for this, Mo!!! I'm going to keep an eye out for them!!! The rain seems to have gone away for this coming weekend thankfully, but it's NOW calling for record high temps for those days, mid-90s. Yikes! :scared:

Hey, ya'll! :grouphug:

So I figured for today's update, because work is crazy and I don't have a lot of time, I'd post the final drafts of my 4 spreadsheets, since I've made several changes since my initial posting of them. :p

And how amazing that your friend knew you would love it!! That's something that is actually useful to have around the house too.

I know, I couldn't believe it! She says we have a psychic link! :rotfl:

I'm pretty funny like that... I'm a BIG fan of practical gifts & souvenirs. My Disney World headwear (Minnie Ears and my tiara) and my penchant for getting my face painted while at Disney are pretty much my only two exceptions to this. In general, things I buy for myself (or gifts I enjoy the most) are the ones that have practical uses in my day-to-day life. :thumbsup2

I might just do that re: the spreadsheet....but do you just use a whole page per day? Do you find it easy to navigate and do you print it out and bring it with you or just have it on your phone or something? (sorry if you have already said this...just curious...because I'm wondering what other people do lol)

I am sorry but I'm going to respectfully disagree to the part where you state that Minnie ears and Tiaras are not practical. If I remember correctly someone on this thread vacuumes in her tiara that is the definition of practical!

I think you've got it covered!!! :thumbsup2 ONE MORE WORK DAY!!!!!!!!!! You can almost say "tomorrow"!!!!!!!!! :jumping1:
